You notice one of the partners staring at you as your eyes widen.
"Soobin?" you whisper under your breath. The person grins at you and nods as he comes closer to you and giggles "y/n!". Jake notices this from his peripheral vision as he keeps glancing at you both.
You gasp as you start chuckling too "What are you doing here?". Soobin is one of your old highschool friends. He was the only one who stayed by your side throughout middle school and highschool, the only one who didn't use you and abandon you. You're pretty close to him.
Soobin grins. "What do you mean? I'm your husbands business partner~" he says as he walks close to you and pulls you into a tight hug, wrapping his arms around your waist. You freeze for a second but then relax as you hug him back, smiling widely. Jake notices this and clenches his jaw but doesn't do anything. yet.
You pull back and smile widely at Soobin.
"I missed you" Soobin says as he stops hugging you but still stands really close to you.
"I missed you too!" you say as you smile at him. You and Soobin start talking while standing pretty close to each other.
Jake notices this and gets really jealous. He quickly finishes the talk with his business partners and walks up to you and Soobin. He comes up right next to you and tightly wraps his arm around your waist, pulling you into his body.
Your eyes widen and your body tenses up when you feel someone pull you but you realise it's Jake and relax in his grip. Jake speaks up "Well Mr Choi, me and my wife will get going now" and his tone is cold as ice. He seems pretty pissed.
Soobin looks surprised for a bit but then nods "Oh yeah, sure". Soobin turns to you and gives you an adorable smile "I'll call you later, okay?"
"Yeah" you reply and smile at him, not realising how jealous Jake is getting. Soobin suddenly pulls you towards him, out of Jake's grip and wraps his arms around you, tightly hugging you. Your eyes widen but you hug him back and then pull back.
As soon as you break the hug, you feel a strong pair of arms wrapping around your waist and pulling you back as you crash into Jake's hard chest. You let out a gasp and regain your balance as you stand next to Jake.
"Jake what are you-"
He abruptly cuts you off and speaks in a cold tone
"Let's go, bye Mr Choi". He grabs your wrist and pulls you along with him, out of the hall, towards his cabin.
"Jake what-"
"Shut up and walk" he says in a pissed and intimidating tone as you quickly shut up and follow him.
