Kayrona POV

"Nora," I called softly as I knocked on her bedroom door for the third time.

This was unlike she would never ignore me no matter what the situation was.

I was about to walk away when I decided to try opening the door.

What a crazy idea Kay.

Nora has never left her bedroom door open whether she is in there or not.

I turned the knob and was surprised when the door was pushed open.

Something is up.

I pushed open the door and entered the room the bed was empty and well spread. I walked towards her closet and got the same result I then walked to the bathroom with my last hope.

"Nora," I called softly then knocked on the door.

The door was pushed open by the force of my knocking.
I gasped when I saw that the room was empty as well.

"Don't let it be what I'm thinking don't let it be," I whispered to myself then walked back into her room.

What am I going to tell Dad?

I began to walk towards the door but stopped mid-way when my eyes landed on a note.

After much hesitation, I walked towards the bedside table where the note lay.

Can't blame me for hesitating
If Nora walks in it would look like am snooping through her belongings.

I picked up the letter when I saw my name written on the front.

If you are reading this letter that means I have made up my mind to leave. I left because I couldn't marry Alex my heart is with Valerio and will forever be. I love you so much and don't ever think I turned my back on you. I had my reason why I left you will know some day. Don't search for me because I have already left the country and my identity is now changed."

"Noooooooooooo," I screamed as I dropped to the ground with tears streaming down my face.

For the first time in years, I let my tears out.

"Kayona," I heard my dad yell angrily from downstairs.

I quickly jumped up and wiped my tears.

"Coming," I shouted before running towards Nora's bathroom.

I quickly washed my face and then wiped away all traces of tears and sadness.

Nora and I were not allowed to show our emotions around anyone, especially our father.

I walked towards my bedroom and then placed the note in my safe.

"Enter," My dad's cold voice rang through the atmosphere.

I pushed the door to his office open and then entered.

"Your sister is gone!" He yelled then slammed his fist against the table.

"What do you mean gone?" I asked in disbelief.

"She is fucking missing," He yelled then stood up.

I walked towards the chair that was in line with his table and then sat.

"How, when?" I asked

"Since she killed ten guards and destroyed the cameras, that's how!" He yelled again.
