As the doors on the elevator slid open once again, a cold wind blew through the elevator. Nice shivered, peering out through the doors at the ominous Two Stud Camp. The night sky glittered with stars and the silhouettes of tall pine trees standing underneath the black canvas. Multiple torches lit the paths that spread throughout the camp.

Split glanced at Bive, noticing she was clearly anxious. She passed a reassuring smile to her and took her hand. "Cmon, Bivey." Split said, walking out of the elevator. Bive trailed close behind, watching the sky carefully for any UFOs. The two followed a trail of lit torches that took them directly to a small clearing with a campfire in the middle. They barely noticed Spud who was sitting by the fire, looking miserable. "AH! ALIEN!" Bive suddenly shouted. Spud turned their head to stare at them, going from sad to confused. "Bivey, it's okay, is just Spud!" Split quickly said, calming her down.

"A-Alien?" Spud said quietly.
"There is no alien." Split replied.
"Oh.. Spud. Whew." Spud sighed, looking back towards the fire.

Split sat net to Spud and gestured for Bive to come over and join them. The fire glowed brightly and radiated a comforting heat. Spud stared into the fire with no thoughts in his head. "Spud, do you have the time?" Split asked, breaking him out of his trance. "Uhm.. Spud... Yes." Spud said after a moment of hesitation.

"Have you seen Pest lately?" Split asked him.
"Spud, no... I don't think.. Spud?" Spud responded.
Bive took out the paper yet again and showed it to him.
After scanning through it a couple times, Spud lifted his head and spoke "Spud.. They're missing?"
Split nodded quietly.

Bive glanced around the camp worriedly. Everything was silent, not even a cricket chirping was heard. The atmosphere of the camp tore away at Bive's clam state, making her grow more and more uneasy the longer they stayed. She stared up at the sky, trying to tell the difference between stars and UFOs.

"Uhm.. I did see something.. Spud.." Spud said, standing up. Split and Bive followed him as he took them to a tent.
Inside was a cozy interior with string lights messily hanging around the ceiling of the tent and blankets and pillows placed around. Spud sat down and opened a computer lying amongst the blankets. Split and Bive sat down by him and watched as Spud pulled up a video tape on the computer. It was what appeared to be a recording of a security camera in the camp. Spud clicked on the computer and played the video.

Pest stood in the middle of the forest by a crashed UFO. The UFO was tinted green, just like Gnarpy's. He was rummaging through the UFO, stealing coins and any valuable resources he found inside. As shouting was heard from a distance, Pest perked up. He grabbed an armful of coins and such and ran into the thick, tangled forest.

A couple minutes later, Gnarpy angrily came back to the crashed ship. Xe realized their belongings were stolen.

The video tape ended there. Spud continued to stare at the screen before finally looking up from the computer and turning to look at Bive. "I found.. Spud... It a couple days ago.. Spud." He said. Bive examined the video.

As she was deep in thought, she was broken from her concentration as the world around her slowly went dark. The air got colder and the string lights above flickered quickly before shutting off. Spud looked panicked. He quickly shut the computer and ran out of the tent. "Must.. Spud... Warn Sarah." He mummered.

"S-SPLIT?!" Bive panicked. "I -I think we're safe in here.." Split responded quietly. Outside the tent, the two could see blue lights flashing by. Bive clung to Split, extremely distressed. Split herself was worried and afraid, but she tried her best to keep calm. The wind howled and the UFOs zipped by. As everything soon quieted down, they couldn't be sure if the UFOs were really gone or not. "S-" Bive's words caught on her throat as she heard footsteps outside. Were they Spud's? It didn't seem like it.. How could she know?

Before Split or Bive could react, the tent wall was sliced open. Green claws stuck through the new wide opening in the wall. The claws torn down the wall, nearly making the tent collapse. Gnarpy stood there, glaring menacingly at them. Xe had some small scars on xis arms, including a bigger scar on xis neck.

"W-WHAT DO YOU WANT?!" Bive yelled, panicked.
"I want to know what you zeebloingz are doing in MY CAMP." Gnarpy hissed lowly.
"But this isn't your ca-" Split was cut off by Gnarpy shouting
"IT'Z MINE! THAT ZTUPID IDIOT ZPUD DOEZN'T CARE TO DEFEND IT!" Gnarpy protested loudly.
"WE CANT TRUST XIM! XE'LL RUIN OUR INVESTIGATION!" Bive said.
"Inveztigation?" Gnarpy meowed, tilting xis head curiously.
"DON'T TELL THAT AWFUL GREEN CAT, XE'S NOT TRUSTWORTHY." Bive quickly said.
"Watch your mouth." Gnarpy hissed "I have a zapper and an entire army in the zky, I wouldn't rizk it.."
Split and Bive passed nervous glances towards each other.
"It'll be okay, Bivey." Split said quietly to her, standing up. Split hesitated before continuing to speak "We're looking for Pest, he's missing."
Gnarpy's eyes widen, remembering the day they fought.
"Oh, how awful.." Xe meowed "..Zay, I think I zaw him go onto the elevator juzt a while ago!"
"Wait, really?" Split asked curiously.
"Yez! Hurry! We can catch up to him if we go now.." Gnarpy insisted.
Bive looked at Split "Are you sure this is a good idea..." She asked worriedly.
"Don't worry, I'm sure." Split reassured her.
"No time to wazte! Cmon!" Gnarpy shouted. Xe had already left the tent.

Bive and Split quickly followed xim back to the elevator. Gnarpy walked over to the buttons by the door, selecting the place to go. The doors closed behind them and the elevator began its descent. As the three stood in silence, Bive could see Gnarpy smiling grimly from afar. Bive turned to Split, whispering as quietly as possible "I don't trust this guy.."
"Me neither." Split silently admitted "But what if xe isn't lying?"
Bive thought about that, wondering if Gnarpy really could be honest.

Ding!

Split and Bive walked up to the doors of the elevator as they opened. Outside was the backrooms. That odd yellow color and strange smell threw Bive off guard.

Split began to speak "Are you sure this is wher-"
"ZAHAHAHAHA! YOUR ZO GULLIBLE! HAVE FUN!" Gnarpy said, coming up behind the two and shoving them out of the elevator.
"NO WAIT-" Bive yelled, but it was too late, the doors shut closed and the elevator left.

Lights around them flickered on and a faint static buzzing rang through the floor. Bive stuck close to Split, scared.
"W-WHAT NOW?!" She panicked.

"I .. Don't know.."
