"welcome to team seraphim, hong eunchae."

eunchae's gaze fell on the woman sitting at the desk in front of her. her hair was cut into a bob, and was two toned, black and blonde. her bangs covered her forehead and made her big eyes stand out.

"i'm team seraphim's leader, kim chaewon." the woman smiled up at eunchae. "over there is miyawaki sakura, she's the eldest of our team and has been with me the longest." sakura looked up at the mention of her name and waved shyly.

"hello sunbaenim." eunchae turned to her senior. giving her a deep bow.

"this tall one on my left," chaewon points to a taller girl with long ginger hair falling perfectly straight down, "is huh yunjin, or jennifer."

"hey hubae." yunjin winks at eunchae while flicking a finger gun at her.

eunchae smiles, stifling a laugh, and bows towards her as well.

"and this," chaewon pulls over a girl a little taller than eunchae, "is our youngest, or was, nakamura kazuha."

kazuha bows her head slightly to eunchae.

"it's really nice to meet all of you. i hope we get along well!" eunchae holds her fist up as the girls all say fighting in unison.

"kura?" chaewon calls out to the eldest sitting at her desk.

"yes chae?" sakura doesn't look up from the documents in front of her.

"can you show eunchae around the building please?"

"sure, no problem." she shuffled the papers back into a stack, placing them in the corner of her desk. "eunchae, you ready to go?" sakura glances up at the youngest.

"yup!" clasping her hands together, eunchae flashes the team members a quick smile as her and sakura walk out of the office door.

"i'll try to make it quick, we never know when we'll be needed. also, you probably won't be going anywhere other than our office much anyway." sakura glances down both sides of the hallway before turning to face eunchae. "by the way, you can speak comfortably with us. we're not old fashioned like that." sakura smiles.

"okay, i'll try." eunchae's lips press together in a small grin. "is it really that unexpected when calls come, by the way? like it can happen at any time?"

"yeah. we could get a call right now, or it could have happened when chaewon was introducing us to you. we never know."

"really? there's no times where you usually get calls?"

"no, it's always completely random."

"that's really different from when i worked as an officer, calls would be random, sure, but they would usually happen in a certain time frame."

the two girls stop at the elevator at the end of the hallway. "yeah, you'll have to make sure to always be prepared, i'm sure you'll do great." sakura pats the younger's shoulder and presses the down button to summon the elevator.

"thanks sunbae." sakura and eunchae step into the elevator, the former scanning her card and typing in a custom floor.

eunchae looks to her senior, curious as the elevator starts descending. "i though we were already on the ground floor?"

"that's just our 'official' office. everything that you'll need to know or use is underground."

"ah." eunchae nods gently.

the elevator jolts to a stop as they reach the assigned floor. the two girls step out into a large hallway, a hallway that looked very regular for a secret underground office. the walls were painted an off white colour and the floor was made of pretty granite. there was a receptionist sitting at her desk near the elevator.
