Chapter - 10

Juwon's pov :-

It was already 7 pm when I woke up that day . I recalled that i fell asleep in the car . I had a sharp pain in my head . I was in an unknown room .
' Juwon ! Are you okay ? ' I saw Hyun coming inside the room with a medicine box and glass full of water in his hand .
' What happened ? ' I said sitting up .
' You became unconscious in the car . Are you okay now ? . You should take this medicine '
' I thought i fell asleep '
He handed me a medicine and a glass of water . I never liked taking medicines , who does ? I took the medicine hesitatingly.
' It tastes bad ' I said with a irritated face . ' Where are we ? '
' It's my friend's house '
' Oh that friend , Juwol ?'
' Hmm '

I felt strange , the whole day . His friend was somewhat strange always trying to come between Hyun and my conversations . Always slaying if anyone called me . I don't know if Hyun felt the same but i felt he is somehow related to this whole mystery .

( That night , 11:45pm )

I was standing on the terrace thinking about what happened and that how could Hyun's friend be related to this matter , when Hyun came with two coffee mugs .
' I thought you might need one ' He stood beside me handing me a coffee mug .
' Hmm ... So you gave those hard efforts on making it again ? '
' you could say lol '

It was all dull and quite around us . But our giggles made that place shine .
After talking for a while i realised what i said to him earlier , ' stay away from me ' .
' About what i said earlier , in the car . I actually didn't meant it '
' I knew it '
' Huh ? '
' Hmm '
' Uh...I think it's the time for me to confess everything . I might not get a chance later . ' I said with my head down . ' I ... wanted to be with you till we grew old . Like how everyone stayes . Together . Forever . But I don't think i would get that chance . It is said that if you confess your feelings , your pain might get a little reduced . I can't hold my it anymore . I might regret if i don't do it now . So ... I love you . Lets be together for tonight . Let's not worry  about anything else .' I looked at him . A bit of water filled in his eyes . Cheeks red . A small smile on his face . He was in such a state that it would be hard for someone to tell if he is sad or happy .
He didn't said anything but hold me by my waist and his other hand on my nape and slowly he came closer to my face . Our nose touching . And slowly our lips brushed against each other . We both kissed in the terrace under that shiny , beautiful moon . It felt like a dream , to spend a moment like this with him . The kiss was passionate and beautiful . Little did we knew that it was our * the very first and last kiss * ever . Tears fell down my eyes when we kissed . But we smiled in between the kiss .

We broke the kiss and looked in each others eyes . His eyes were filled with love . While I was scared , scared i could never spend a moment like this with him again . That's when i made the decision what to do in the end of this adventure .
We spent the night together in each others arm , in my room . It maybe was just the beginning and ending of our new story that we wanted to be long . We knew a new adventure is waiting for us , and that the next day will be a hectic one . And maybe our last day together ?

( Next day )

The sound of my phone ringing made me wake up immediately. I rubbed my eyes and saw Hyun sleeping beside me . I took my phone from the table beside my bed and saw it was a unknown number, but still it looked familier to me .
I picked up the call and said in a questioning voice ' hello ? '

A nervous voice said from the other side ' Juwon ... I-It's Appa '
I recognized the voice immediately after i heard it . It's Appa . Hyun was right . ' Appa ? W-why ...'
' I know I did hurt you , I am sorry Dewdrop. I know i shouldn't have but ... there was no option left for me . I wanted to keep you safe , but i couldn't . I involved you in a big crime now . I am sorry dear '
I didn't wanted to believe it . But the word * Dewdrop * made my eyes filled with tears . He used to call me with that name * Dewdrop * .
' Dewdrop , listen now , we don't have time to chat now . I am sending you an address , come there as soon as possible and yeah with Hyun . '
' You know him ? '
' Yeah . Now get ready . You need to do it this time . Okay ? '
I heard a gunshot from the other side and he cut the call .

' Appa ?' Even though i knew everything, i still became dumbfounded looking at the address he sent me .

' Juwon ? '
' Appa called me '
' I guess time's passing by a little too fast . Send me the address. And get ready . ' With that he left the room .

After a while i got ready and went downstairs and saw Hyun talking with his friend , Juwol . When he saw me he looked at me with a strange face . I knew he will be betraying Hyun .

Almost after 20 minutes we left for the location, where we were said to come .

' The address ... It's of our own house . My parents and I used to live there . ' I said looking outside the car window . ' I don't know what happened to our house after the accident '
' Maybe your father lives there now '
' No , I heard a gunshot when he called me . I am sure he would not have called us there if he lived there . '

When we reached there , I saw that same old house . The same garden . Only , the house was covered in dust and dirt . I opened the gate covered in dirt .
' Dewdrop ' I saw my father.  After  years . He called me in the same way how he called me before . The same voice . The same soft and calm voice , that he used only towards me and mom .
I thought I won't let go of my dad now . I won't lose him again . But our fate wanted something else . A bullet pierced through his chest as soon as he moved a step forward . 
We got surrounded my numerous people . Like the ones at Yun's office. 
We didn't had our guns with us . Some grabbed Hyun , while the others pointed there gun towards me . I didn't knew what to do . I looked at my father miserable in pain . He called me again . I went towards him blankly .
' Appa ' Tears started to build their way through my eyes .
' They need this pen drive the most . I am sorry . I m- made your li-fe miserable.  N-now , keep it safe dear ' He said handing me a pen drive . And that the was last time he breathed.  I saw him dying in front of me . Yun came outside from a car and injected something to Hyun , for which he became weak and started glitching more . I sat there lifeless , still not able to believe what happened .  It felt like my world fell apart .Someone came and  injected me something on my neck.  And slowly I became unconscious .

When I woke up I was in a church . Hyun was tied with a rope . There was a sharp pain in my head . Yun came towards me and said with a sarcastic laugh ' I could have taken the pen drive out of your pocket when you were unconscious,  but i wanted to see both of you miserable in pain so much that i didn't ' and slapped me .
' You bitch , get off your dirty hands from her ' Hyun said , still glitching. 
Yun was about to slap me again for his psycho pleasure but someone came in . No . Not one person but two . One of them was Juwol as expected and the other one .... Hyun's Dad ?

( Previous Night , 12:30am) 

' So you lived in that house with your father ? ' I asked Hyun curiously. 
' After the missiles were sent from future  , everyone died,  everyone. There were only a few people who lived . That day , my mother sacrificed her life to save me . It was the only house that didn't collapsed '
' I see '
' My father never let me feel down . He always encouraged me when i lost hope . He said something special's going to happen. But I still don't understand what is that ? Maybe ... the thing that we got a chance to fix everything. He knew everything after all . He's my hero . ' Hyun said with a proud smile .
