He told me to smile,

Because when i did, i was beautiful

He said, frowning didn't suit me well

He didn't know, inside i was dying

So I let the corners of my lips curve

Into a pearly-white-happy grin

And as long as my smiles kept coming

He'd never know my soul was drowning
