Another day, another great memory. At least that is what Wendy Morell has always said to herself, it was August 1st and Wendy was especially excited today. Wendy stood up from her bed, she lifted her arms up to stretch. Wendy walked towards the brown nightstand in her room and grabbed her hairbrush, she brushed her long dark brown hair which seemed softer than usual. Wendy looked at herself in the mirror, she thought she looked great. Wendy walked downstairs to eat some breakfast, she saw her dad making quesadillas. His back was facing Wendy so she decided to sneakily walk closer, she shifted forward and hugged her dad from behind.
"Daddy!" Wendy exclaimed.
Wendy's father looked behind him and looked down to see his daughter hugging him, he smiled and stopped cooking for a second to hug her back.
"Morning my little squirrel!" Wendy's father said as he hugged her back.
Wendy always enjoyed the nicknames, she only gave nicknames to the people closest to her and so far her dad was the only one with a special nickname. He called her a squirrel and she called him a sloth, mainly due to him being lazy most of the time. Wendy had a big smile on her face, she hugged her father tightly before looking at the eggs he prepared. "I'm gonna go get ready to play video games, tell me when the food is ready!"Wendy then ran upstairs to her room, she was going to get ready to go play games at the arcade. The only arcade around was the one at Circus baby's Pizza world, Wendy thought the animatronics there were boring so she never really paid any attention to them anymore. The last time she remembered paying any attention to them was in May when she went to the Circus baby's pizza world for her tenth birthday, but after that, she lost interest in the robots there. However, Wendy fixed her mindset and she would rather not dwell on the past, she quickly got upstairs and changed out of her pajamas into a nice, pink dress. Wendy always loved wearing dresses, she just never got the time to.
Wendy brushed her hair for the second time and she sprayed herself with perfume, the perfume smelled really nice, kind of like flowers. Wendy sat on her bed to put on some white socks, the last thing to do was to go out on her shoes. Wendy walked towards the shoe rack in her closet, she reached out to grab some of her shiny pink boots but something else caught her attention. Wendy looked to her left and saw plushies, more specifically the plushies that resembled all four of the Animatronics at Circus baby's pizza world. Wendy just stared, they reminded her of something, for some reason she felt something very bad, like some sort of bad feeling from her past. When she looked at the plushies eyes, she felt something she hadn't felt in a long time, but she had forgotten what that bad feeling meant...
Wendy soon snapped out of it and she grabbed her boots, she stood back up and looked at the plushies one last time before closing the closet door. Wendy sat on her bed and looked down, she was thinking about where that feeling came from and why she felt so Sad all of a sudden. Wendy quickly tried to cheer herself up, "Happy thoughts Wendy, you're alive! You're up and out of bed, you have everything you can ever want and more! You will feel better when you go play games at the arcade for sure!" Wendy said to herself.
Wendy slipped her feet into the boots and tied the laces, she stood up and looked down at herself.
"Perfect" Wendy whispered to herself.
Wendy walked back downstairs and walked towards the kitchen, she quickly ate the eggs on the plate before washing her dishes. She gave her dad one last hug before she ran out of the door.
"Bye daddy, I'll get you a present from the arcade!"
Wendy ran out of the house before she could hear her father saying goodbye back, she felt a bit happier now. The sun was shining, the clouds looked extra fluffy today and Wendy still had some credits in her arcade card! Wendy walked towards Circus baby's pizza world, she opened the doors and walked in.Wendy around, she saw the tables and the flashy lights. Wendy saw the stuffed animals and balloons near the prize corner, she looked down at the festive floor and looked back up so she could see where she was going. Wendy didn't bother looking at the Animatronics, she wasn't so interested in them. Wendy walked to the arcade and immediately went to a game she liked to play, it was a punching bag that had a screen on the top of the machine, it told you how hard you punched the bag. Wendy inserted the card into the side of the machine, once the light on the machine turned green she placed the card in her pocket and stood in a certain way.
Wendy had one foot in front of the other, but they didn't align. She put her fists up, she prepared to punch the box. She tightened her fists a bit more to ball them up and she swung! The punching bag went up and she received her score, she looked up at the screen and it had the number '540' on it. Wendy smiled at herself, she had gotten better at punching. Wendy then walked towards a game called, 'hooked'. The game was basically a machine that had seats and a strange reel on it like a fishing hook, the goal was to look at the screen and reel in as many fishes as you could. Wendy sat down in the seat, she had her right hand on the reel and her right hand on the grip of the "fishing hook". Wendy looked at the screen and watched herself catch fishes, she felt a tap on her back.
"Hey Wendz!" Someone behind Wendy said, she could tell from the voice that it was one of her acquaintances, a ten year old boy named Leo.
"Hey Leo, how are you?" Wendy said, still looking at the screen but obviously talking to Leo who was behind her.
"Y'know, the usual. I'm just getting to level 1000 on that punching bag game, once I broke the machine because of how hard I punched the bag." Leo said in a sarcastic tone.
"Hah! I doubt that! I'm sure that the highest level you have gotten in that game is a solid 1." Wendy said teasingly.
"Nah, I get a way higher score. I bet I can get a higher score than you!" Leo said.
"You probably can, you can show me your "strength" after this and we'll see just who can punch harder. But right after I caught this big fish in hooked." Wendy said.Leo watches Wendy play, she was making good progress. Wendy played the game until the timer ran out, she got an alright score. Wendy stood up from the seat and looked over at Leo, she just saw what he was wearing today. Leo combed his hair today, he had a long gray jacket on and formal looking black pants. Wendy and Leo walked over towards some other arcade games and played them for about an hour, after playing some games Leo and Wendy walked out of the arcade.
"Wendz, look! The animatronics are gone, I think they are being rented!"
Wendy looked over at the stage, the animatronics were gone. She watched as Leo sat at a table, there was a large plate of pizza on the table."Hey Wendy, want some pizza?" Leo asked.
Wendy looked at the pizza, she thought about it for a moment...
"Yeah, sure. I'll have one slice and take it with me."
Wendy grabbed a slice of pizza before she left Circus baby's pizza world. It got a little darker outside, Wendy just walked towards her house and grabbed the key from her pocket to open the front door. Wendy walked inside her house, she didn't hear anything so she knew her dad had left for work. Wendy walked towards the kitchen, it was oddly quiet. Wendy walked towards the fridge and saw a note, she grabbed the note and read it. It said, 'There is a present for you in the living room for being such a great kid. P.S. Those good grades paid off." Wendy stuffed the note in her pocket and walked towards the living room, Wendy felt excited to see what the gift was. Wendy walked towards the living room and before she walked into the livng room she saw her "present", she saw the four animatronics from Circus Baby's Pizza World. Wendy felt a bit anxious and she didn't know why, her fear of the animatronics was fimiliar to her and she was reminded by the strange feeling of dread that she had in the morning. The animatronics were powered off, she saw their eyes begin to glow and they began to slightly move. Wendy felt a bit scared, she felt afraid that they might try to hurt her due to their uncanny appearances so she ran upstairs to her room away from the Funtime Animatronics. Wendy ran in her room and locked the door, she stayed near the door for a few minutes, she didn't hear anything from outside of her room so she decided to change into her pajamas and jump into bed. Wendy made sure the door was locked, she couldn't quite understand why she was so scared of the circus baby's pizza world animatronics, all of whom were downstairs and still in her house. Wendy sighed and she tried to force herself to fall asleep. She didn't know why she was so terrified of the Funtime Animatronics, she just ignored her fear so she fell asleep in her bed. Soon, she saw the darkness and heard nothing. She was now in a peaceful sleep...
