Erito and Akari found themselves abruptly jolted from their makeshift beds, suddenly back in the familiarity of their homes. The disorienting transition left Erito staring at the ceiling of his house, while Akari blinked, finding herself nestled in the comforting confines of her own bed, both bewildered by the sudden change.

Erito's mother, noticing her son's dazed expression, tried to engage him.

Erito's mom: Erito, are you okay?

Lost in the whirlwind of confusion, Erito struggled to immediately register his mother's voice, grappling with the inexplicable shift in reality.

(Erito's inner thoughts): Why am I back home? Was everything at school just a figment of my imagination? Or... am I trapped in some sort of time loop? No, it can't be... or could it? This feels too strange to be real.

Erito's mom: Erito...

Erito: Huh?

Erito's mom: Are you feeling unwell? Do you need to stay home today?

Erito: No, I'm fine, just a bit tired.

Erito's mother, accustomed to his perpetual exhaustion, simply shrugged and went about her daily routine, unperturbed by her son's perplexing state of mind.

Meanwhile, Akari, waking up in her own familiar surroundings, pondered over the oddity of her situation, her mind clouded by puzzling thoughts.

Akari: Weren't I in school a moment ago?

Deciding it was futile to dwell on such inexplicable occurrences, she dismissed it as a fragment of a dream and proceeded with her morning rituals. She chose her attire—a black sweater with a vibrant red hoodie, complementing her black dress adorned with striking red stripes. Adjusting her eye patch to conceal her eye, she packed her belongings—a lab coat, her grandfather's cherished red watch, and lunch money—before setting off to school in her car.

(Akari's thoughts): Maybe it was just a strange dream. It felt too real, though... But dwelling on it won't solve anything.

Pushing aside the lingering sensations of oddity, she focused on the day ahead, trying to shake off the surreal feeling that lingered from the unexpected change in surroundings.

It was science class again.

Science Teacher: Good morning, class! Today, we have a special project where you'll be paired up with a partner. You'll be working on your own science project and present your findings to the class. I'm going to write down the list of the students who will be partners.

The teacher wrote down the names on the white board.

1. Erito and Hiro

2. Yuki and Akari

...

The whiteboard held a list of partnered students, and amidst the names, Erito and Akari were bewildered to find themselves on separate teams, an unexpected twist in their expected collaboration.

(Erito's thoughts): What the... Why are we not together? There's something strange going on, way too coincidental to be random.

(Akari's thoughts): This doesn't make sense. Why aren't we paired together? Is this some sort of glitch in time or just another twist in this strange chain of events?

Their watches, once adorned with the enigmatic red infinity, now displayed a perplexing red one, signaling a peculiar shift.

(Erito and Akari's mutual thoughts): This feels like some bizarre time loop, not the usual repetition, but something uncanny.
