What do you mean Minal went back home?
Mubarak asked Sadik who is explaining what happened

I also don't know what exactly happened brother,I came back from school and I didn't meet her at home I thought she went out at first until when it was time for dinner and I didn't see her I, that's when I asked mummy and she told me her mom came to take her back to Abuja with her,she wants her to give birth at home

But that's not fair,they should have atleast call to tell me about it, Mubarak complained
When is mummy coming back?
He asked

I really don't know,but I am sure she is on her way now
Sadik said

Mubarak went back to his room to freshen up and wait for his mom to come back

He came out after he heard her voice
Good evening mom he greeted

Good evening she anwsered with a frown

Hmmm I heard Minal went back home....he stammered

Is that why you are here?
She snapped at him

Abeg it's okay,she went back to Abuja it's a normal tradition that we follow or do you have anything to say about that?

She looked at him before turning her face and continue pressing her phone
After some minutes she stood up and went to the kitchen asking what he wants to eat

He happily followed her to kitchen explaining what he wants

He entered the house thinking about how to face Minal's mom,since their last encounter he didn't dare go to where she is again because he didn't know what she might do to him, because she looks very angry
He said the taslim and entered the room when they anwsered
Hajiya Faridah is sitting on the couch while Minal was lying with her head on her laps,she was pressing her phone when she heard his voice,she quickly stand up to look if it's really him or her ears are decieving her, it's been two weeks since she came back home and this the first time he is coming she has been expecting him since but he didn't show up,she hide the joy in her mind because she didn't want to give in to him that quick,she went back and sleep pressing her phone after greeting him,he anwsered with a smile and greeted Hajiya Faridah before sitting on the chair after he noticed she isn't planning to answer his greetings nor did she ask him to sit

He asked

And can I ask why you are here?
She asked looking at him directly with an angry face

I came to see my wife,I didn't know she came back home, that's why I didn't come all this while....
He explained

Okay Mr wife,the wife you almost kill abih,toh thank you for coming,I don't think we need you to continue coming again,I can continue taking care of my child I don't need your help so just rest in your house and continue your business

I am sorry mah
I made a mistake and in Sha Allah something like that won't happen again
Please don't ask me to stop coming,I can't endure it
He said sadly

But you expect her to endure all the hardship she faced in your house,

Minal stands up pushing her stomach and walk to her room without looking at where Mubarak is sitting,she blames him for all that happened if he hadn't ask her to prove her love she wouldn't have left,now look what has happened

Hajiya Faridah turned and face Mubarak, please don't come back to this house again we don't need you
Now you can also leave thank you for coming
She left immediately after finishing her statement

Mubarak quietly dragged his legs and leave the house regretting all he has done over and over again,he really wish he can turn the hands clock he won't have done all that

Hajiya Faridah said and turned to check on Minal

She screamed when she saw Minal on the floor unconscious
She run to her crying shouting her name,she noticed her phone on the floor and glanced at it,the condition she found her daughter in didn't give her the chance to look at the phone for long to even analyse what is on the screen,she just push the phone under the bed and use her own phone to call her husband to come help her
