Christmas. One of the best holidays of the year. My song just released and I told Rae not to listen to it until I set it up. I was currently driving on the road Rae lived on while listening to my new song and I really liked what I did with it. Although there was something weighing heavily on my mind.
Y/n: *sigh* Was a song really best way to confess to Rae?
I have that thought the entire drive until I reach Rae's house. I park in her drive and exit the car before walking to the door. I knock a couple times and see Poki open the door with Rae and Janet sitting on the couch watching TV and a Christmas tree in one of the corners of the room.
Y/n: Hey, Imane.
Poki: Hey, Y/n! Come in!
I walk inside and Rae and Janet both look away from the TV and toward me.
Rae: Y/n!
Y/n: Hey, Rae. Hey, Janet.
I walk over to the couch with Poki. She sits with the girls while I link my phone to the TV.
Rae: You finally gonna let us see your new song?
Y/n: You've really been waiting, huh?
Poki: Ever since you told her the song was inspired by her she's been begging to see it.
Y/n: Well today's the day. Consider it my Christmas present to you, Rae.
I search up my new song on YouTube and see it so I press on it causing it to go onto the TV. I put my phone in my pocket and wait for the girls reactions when listening to it.
Rae POV
Y/n plays his new song and I feel so excited waiting for it. Once it started, Imane, Janet and I listened to it while Y/n stood behind us.
