It's been ten years since Jason returned to his brothers side and in that time Jason's reputation as a Grimm has reached far past the borders of Portland, Oregon even reaching the ears of both the Royal Families and the Wesen Council.
In this time Jason and Nick rebuilt their bond as brothers and became each others closest friends and as the years ticked by Jason welcomed a daughter into his life with a woman named Rosalee.

Rosalee is a Fuchsbau, a Fox-like Wesen who while living in the city of Seattle helped Jason get past a dark time causing the two to grow really close which resulted in Rosalee getting pregnant and giving birth to their daughter Amelia Burkhart a Fuchsbau/Grimm hybrid.

As the morning sun shined over Portland at an apartment building a woman in a red jacket could be seen leaving the complex before she takes off in a jog through the forested area, but as she as she runs she sees a small porcelain figurine sitting on a log to which the woman stopped and picked up the toy, but as she looked over the toy suddenly she was tackled before she her screams echoed through the woods followed by animalistic growls until her screams died down leaving only silence in the woods.
