Zayn didn't lie. Everywhere we went, he was right there. He was watching me, waiting. Waiting for me to decide my fathers faith.

"We will stop at a friends place today. He will make us new identities." Louis informed me. We were sat in a small restaurant, eating. We were sat in a booth together. Louis hadn't noticed but Zayn was sat in the booth right behind him.

Zayn raised an eyebrow at the mention of new identities. He didn't like the sound of that. And neither did I at that moment. The more Louis made plans, the more danger my dad was in.

I stared at Louis, trying to make up my mind. Was he really worth it all? Or was my father way more important?

Louis looked up from his plate, smiling. "You're staring love." He laughed. My eyes widened a little. "Sorry. I didn't mean to." Louis shrugged and continued eating. I looked back at Zayn who was staring at me with a small smile.

I let out a  sigh. I knew what I had to do. It had been a week now and I needed to give him my answer. I needed to make my decision now.

"I need to go  for a wee." I told Louis. He nodded without looking up. "Louis?" He looked up then. I leaned over and  planted a kiss on his lips.

Louis smiled. "What was that for?" He asked and I shrugged. "Just felt like it." I glanced at Zayn as I stood up. I walked to the women's bathroom and entered.

A few seconds later, the door opened again. Zayn stepped in the room and walked towards me. He stopped behind me. He pushed my hair away from my neck and kissed me there. I took in a deep breath, making him smile against my skin.

"Shall we get going?" He asked. I bit my lip and turned around to face him. "Yes." I knew it was the thing to do. I had to save my father.

He nodded towards the door, grabbing my hand. "Keep your head down and walk quickly." I nodded. He opened the bathroom door, pulling me out with him. My eyes found the floor and I walked as fast as I possibly could.

But it wasn't fast enough. Louis had time to notice us. "Chloe! Where are you going?" He called out from our table. I wanted to look at him so badly but I knew I couldn't. Zayn would hate that.

"Zayn?" Louis seemed to finally notice him. Zayn tugged on my hand, trying to make me walk faster. "Someone call the police!" Louis yelled. I could hear his footsteps now. He was running towards us right as we exited the restaurant. "Run." I did as Zayn told me to do. We ran towards his car, hand in hand.

I ran to the passenger seat while Zayn went to the drivers. We took our seats and the car started up. A gunshot was heard and a bullet hit the car. I finally looked up. Louis stood there with his gun, shooting us. His face was red with anger. I could understand why. I was giving up on him.

But I just couldn't give up on my dad.

We then sped off down the road, Louis calling my name behind.

I was breathing hard, out of breath. I always hated gym. Don't judge me.

Zayn started laughing, loudly. I frowned at him. I took all the strength I had left and punched his arm. He glanced at me a little surprised by my action. But he just continued laughing.

"This is no laughing matter Zayn." I told him.

"Oh come on! That was fun." I shook my head and looked out the window. I now had to live with this idiot.

Zayn let out a sigh and put his hand on my knee, squeezing it lightly. "Look. I know you're probably sad and mad. But I have a surprise for you." I rolled my eyes.

"Oh really now?"

"Yeah. It's at home though so you have to wait a bit." I let out a sigh.

"Yeah whatever."

We drove for many hours. Zayn would try to start a conversation but I simply ignored him. So we listened to the radio instead.

We drove the whole night and arrived early in the morning. I'm not going to lie, I missed this place. But I also miss Louis already.

How sappy.

Zayn pulled up at the hospital, making me extremely confused. "Why are we here?" I asked.

"Your surprise is here." He answered, getting out of the car. I did the same and followed him in the building.

We walked up many stairs and down many hallways until we stopped at a door.

What kind of surprise could be behind this door? I swear that if it's my father, I will commit a murder. No kidding.

Zayn pointed to the door. "Ladies first." I took in a deep breath and grabbed the doorknob. I slowly opened the door, ready for anything.

And good thing I was. Because what I saw was the last thing I expected.

"Jaiden?" Her head snapped up, her eyes meeting mine. She smiled widely. "Chloe!" She exclaimed.

I couldn't believe it. She was here and alive.

"I thought you were dead." I said, walking over to the chair next to her bed. She shrugged. "No one died that day Chloe."

Now I was confused,

"Harry is alive?" She nodded.

"Yeah he is. The bullet just hit some nerves so he had to learn some things again. But he should be alright."

I let out a breath of relief. They were going to be alright. Zayn didn't kill them and no one was dead.

Jaiden frowned a little. "How did you know I was here? Did my mom tell you or something?"

I shook my head. "Zayn brought me here." She raised an eyebrow. "Zayn? The guy who shot us?" I nodded. "Why were you with him?"

"We're together now." Saying it made it more realistic. I wasn't with Louis. I was with Zayn.

"What?" I shrugged, looking around the room a little. "It's complicated." I looked towards the room's door, looking for Zayn. But the doorway was empty. He was close though and I knew it. He wouldn't just leave like that.

"Well, the doctor said I could leave soon. So can Harry." Jaiden informed me. I smiled.

"Where is Harry going to live? He can't be alone anymore." She shrugged and told me she didn't know.

"He's going to come live with us for a while." Jaiden and I both looked up at Zayn who stepped in the room.

Jaiden frowned. "Why? So you can succeed at killing him this time?" Zayn rolled his eyes, walking towards me. He put a hand on my shoulder, squeezing it slightly.

"No." Was his simple answer. And somehow, I believed him. I would be around at all times anyway so Harry would be fine.

I would make sure of that.

A/N: Yes. They are still alive. And because of that, I will swear for like a second. FUCK YOU ALL THE ONES WHO WERE HATING BECAUSE THEY DIED IN PETRIFIED! I HAD MY OWN PLANS AND HERE THEY ARE. SO FUCK YOU.

Ok. Im good now. Just needed to let that out a bit.

How do you feel bout them being alive?

I will probably be re  writing petrified soon. Make it better. I have people who work for publishers who have been reading my stories and I just want Petrified to be longer and better in hopes that it gets published one day. I mean, who knows.
