"You're asking a lot for a simple instrument," Ocean Cyan stated, holding the Vlassai. It was a musical instrument, used in Gerrun music, which looked like two guitars fused together in a sort of v-shape. They had been trying to acquire one for quite some time, and when they heard that someone in Rainbowland was selling one, they couldn't resist.

"Oh, but it's not just any simple instrument, my friend," the salesman, whose name Ocean remembered was Plock promised, "It was used by Hiras Kodan on her last album!"

"Really," Ocean raised an eyebrow, "and when was that?"

"Um..." Plock hesitated, clearly only familiar with the name, "thirteen years ago?"

A look of disapproval appeared on Ocean's face. "Sir, Hiras Kodan died almost thirty years ago."

"Well... it's still not any mere vlassai! I have been told that it was owned by a member of a quite notable band!"

"I'm assuming you'll have no problems with me verifying that?"

Plock appeared confused. "How are you going to do that?"

"MAGENTA!" Ocean called out, and beside them appeared a cloud of smoke. The smoke soon cleared, revealing another Color Kid, this one having magenta hair and wearing a magenta robe and hat reminiscent of that of a wizard.

"Yo." The wizard greeted.

Ocean held out the instrument. "Magenta, use psychometry on this."

Magenta placed his hand on the vlassai. "It was bought from a pawn shop a week ago."

"Was it played at any big concerts?"

Magenta concentrated. "No, just some small gigs. It was owned by an adolescent member of a garage band."

"Thank you Magenta," Ocean turned back to Plock. "You liar."

Plock turned red and spluttered, "Er... well I must be on my way! Goodbye, children!" before running back to his ship and flying off, leaving the instrument behind.

"Well," Ocean thought, "I suppose I got a vlassai for free."
