It was a random Tuesday and Lucy walks into roll call to find out she is riding with Tim that day. At this rate Lucy only had to put up with Chris's arguments but nothing else. Lucy got the war bags went to find Tim and they got into their shop and started patrol. It was a slow morning, the only call they had been was a robbery. They chased down the suspect and took him to processing then it hit lunch time.
T - Lunch?
L - Ye ofc lets go to the truck and meet everyone.
They drove the two minute drive and got to the truck.
A - Hey you two, slow morning?
T - Yeah only one robbery.
N - Perks of being detective your also busy.
A - Haha you never get bored.
They all laughed. Chris tracked Lucy's phone on find my friends to find Lucy. He pulls up to the truck, storms over to Lucy and says they need to talk. They go over to Chris's car and have a conversation.
L - Hey what's up are you ok?
C - NO I AM NOT OK.
L - Okay calm down and lets talk about why your upset.
C - NO I WONT CALM DOWN. I TOLD U I WANT YOU SPEAKING TO TIM NO MORE!
L - Okay I'm sorry it wont happen again. I'll avoid him from now on.
T - CHEN LET'S GO!
C - Go on you have to go but we will be talking about this when you get home so do not be late!
L - Okay.
C - Love you.
L - Love u too.
While they where arguing Tim, Angela and Nyla were talking.
A - I wonder what they're talking about? Chris seems mad.
T - I don't know but something feels off about that guy.
N - I noticed that but she seems to like him so there's nothing we can do.
T - To hell with that. I'll just tell her we have a "call".
That's when Tim shouted Lucy for the "call"
Tim and Lucy have a slow afternoon till the last twenty minutes of their shift they get a call.
Dispatch-7-Adam-100 we have a family held at gun point three blocks from your location!
T - 7-Adam-100 show us responding to hoszage family 3 blocks away.
Lucy was thinking: Oh no I am gonna be late home. Chris is gonna scream at me and I'm so tire. I don't want to be in a heated argument. Dread overcame her body so bad that Tim noticed and said...
T - Lucy u okay? You seem upset. Is this something to do with the argument with Chris earlier?
L - No I am just tired ad that fight was over the little o thing it was no biggie.
T - Okay as long as your sure!
Tim and Lucy pulled up to the house to find a team from metro and five other units surrounding the house. They took there positions and tim posed as a door dash guy to get the gang guy to open the front door. When he did Tim hit him with the door and the teams breached the house.
T - MOVE IN NOW
After that it was around forty five minuts after Lucy's shift ended and they were heading back to the station and Chris was blowing up Lucy's phonee with text messages and calls. Lucy put her phone on silent so Tim wouldn't notice but he did.
T - You must be very popular tonight haha.
L - Yeah.
As there conversation ended they pulled up tom the station. Lucy jumped out the shop and practically ran to the woman's locker room.
A - What was that all about?
T - I don't know says Tim approaching Angela's desk.
T - Something's up with her since she got with Chris?!
A - I'll go check on her.
T - Thanks Ange let me know how it goes.
A - Will do Angela replies as she was heading to the women's locker room. As Angela entered, Lucy was trying to leave but Angela stopped her.
A - Hey Lucy u ok?
L - Yea I'm fine. I just want to go home i am tired said Lucy while avoiding eye contact.
A - Oh ok message me if you need anything at all.
L - I will thanks Angela
They hug goodbye and Lucy quickly rushes ot the door as she did. So Angela hets her phone out to message the chat with Nyla.
A - Tim you was right something's up with Lucy but I don't think its anything to bad. Now we should wait for her to one to us.
T - Okay I'll leave it for now but all of should keep an ey.
Meanwhile with Chris. Lucy pulled up o her apartment complex dreading going inside because she was over two hours late and she's never seen Chris as mad as he was today. Lucy got her front door and puts a smile on her face and opened the door.
L - Hey baby sorry I'm late. We had a family being held hostage.
Chris came stumbling out the bathroom with a beer in one hand and the stench of alcohol hit the air.
C - NO NO NO YOU DON'T GET TO COME HOME AND ACT ALL NICE WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN CHEATING ON ME WITH TIM!
L - Okay Chris you need to calm down. I haven't been sleeping with Tim why would you think that?
C - STOP LYING I KNOW U HAVE AND EVEN IF U HAVEN'T I WILL JUST TELL EVERYONE U HAVE AND NO ONE WILL BELIEVE U!
Lucy thought it was just a normal argument so she rolled her eyes and turned her back on Chris and went to walk away from him to her bedroom. In anger Chris grabs Lucy by her hair and drags her to the floor kicking and punching her in the stomach and one in the face. When he was done he let Lucy go and she let out a light sob in pain.
