"Let's go boys! Pick up the pace!" Coach Reeves shouted. This was my 10th and final lap around the track, and for someone with such strong stamina like me, my legs feel like jelly. I completed the lap first out of all my other teammates and collapsed onto the ground.

"Good timing Lohrei, 16 minutes and 11 seconds." 16 minutes, no way, if my dad ever found out that I took more than 15 minutes to run 4km, he would pummel me into the ground.

"Damn cap, you are a fucking machine! 16 minutes, you sure you weren't born in Krypton and secretly named Kal-El." There you go, Blake has started with his nonsense. "Seriously man, shut up," he stared at me before I continued, "before I blast your face off with my laser eyes." He fell to the ground laughing and the rest of the team joined in.

I could always count on Blake to cheer me up. That's why he is my best friend. We have been friends since we were in the fifth grade when he moved from Chicago to Pennsylvania when his parents divorced and he became my tablemate in Ms Denver's math class. Since then we have never stopped talking, we started football together, went through thick and thin together and here we are 12 years later in our senior year in Penn State and playing for one of the best Big 10 Teams in College Football.  He knows everything about me, therefore he knows that 16 minutes is a disappointing timing for me and decided to use his comic geekiness to cheer me up.

"Hey Listen guys! I heard the Elliot twins are having a party today." Cody smirked. I swear this dude has nothing else in his mind apart from drinking and partying and of course. "I heard they are gonna give some people 2 for 1's." Disgusting. I swear. I may have my share of sexual activity but I'm sure as hell not into that. "Goddamn Cody get your head out of the gutter, maybe this is the very reason why no girls look your way." Blake shouted. "Seriously, you gotta hurt me there, really?" Cody sulked. We are a bunch of 20 plus year olds but if you heard our conversations you would think we were 13, just figuring out that girl cooties are not a thing.

"Ok boys, good practice today. I hope you guys are ready for the big game tomorrow. Michigan is one hell of an opponent and we have to do our best to smash their faces into our field. We are not gonna let them win at our home, on our turf. Do you understand! So better rest up and no parties today boys." The guys started laughing the minute the coach said that. "Especially you Cody, I don't need a repeat of last year." Coach Reeves stared at him and I'm telling you Cody was like a turtle who crawled back into his shell out of fear. "Ok now get out of here and go home." Coach screamed.

I got into my car with Blake, Asher, Callum and Cody and made our way back to our apartment or as Cody likes to call it "The Football Cave". The minute I got into my room, I crashed, I was so tired but I have to work on my timing and push myself harder to get better and on top of that I still have an economics essay to write. Economics is my least favourite subject in the world that I could never possibly understand. When I was about to take a shower, I heard loud noises coming from outside. God! What are these idiots doing now?

"Fucking hell guys give me my cologne back." Blake frustratedly screamed, while Cody and Asher were running and passing his cologne around the house. "You have an exclusive Versace cologne and you don't want to share it with your best friends, how mean is that?" Cody smirked while spraying the perfume on himself. Oh no! God I pray that you have mercy on Cody's soul for what Blake is about to do to him. "I'm going to fucking kill you." as he starts chasing Cody around the house.

The moment the three of them saw me staring at them they stopped their shenanigans. "Cap, what the hell are you doing? Why the heck are you not dressed?" Cody whined. Dressed? Dressed for what? "What are you talking about?" I asked. Cody groaned, "The Elliot twins party, ring a bell?" I shaked my head and smiled, "Did you guys forget what Coach said today? We have a very important game tomorrow in case you guys forgot."  I asked. "Ah come on cap, when have we ever listened to Coach? This is gonna be the party of the year, there is no way I'm missing it." Asher snickered. "Plus you know the party will be a great distraction from the pressure tomorrow's game will bring us." Cody added. "Seriously?" I asked while looking at Blake. "Hey! I'm just going to make sure this idiot doesn't do the same shit he did last year." I rolled my eyes. "Yea right! We all know you wanna go there for Britney Elliot." Cody screamed. I could see Blake rolling his eyes. I sighed, "Fine! You idiots do what you want but if you are hungover and not awake at 8am tomorrow and ready for the game, you wouldn't meet Coach's wrath but you will meet mine. Spread the word to the rest of the team." They smiled and nodded in agreement but we all know what disaster I will have to encounter tomorrow morning. Cody and Asher quickly made their way out the door because they knew I might change my mind and force them to stay.
