Gloomlight Thorp: (Act 1) - Introduction

Nestled in the serene and peaceful town of Gloomlight Thorp, there exists a mystical community that is renowned for its five distinct types of witches. Each of these witches holds a unique place in the intricate hierarchy of the community, with their own set of skills, knowledge, and abilities that are revered by the townsfolk. Despite their differences, they all coexist harmoniously, sharing their magic and wisdom with each other to create a thriving and enchanted environment;

Coven Witch is a witch who operates as part of a wider group of witches, led by a high priestess, who combine their magical powers and skills to create stronger, bigger spells and manifest outcomes for the group and beyond. Covens focuses more on ceremonial and ritualistic magic. This would make them the highest rank in the list.

Onto the next in the list, The Solar Witch is a practitioner of witchcraft who harnesses the power and energy of the sun to bring about positive transformation in their lives. This type of witchcraft involves casting spells or performing rituals that draw upon the energy of the sun, or practicing meditation while basking in the rays of the sun to focus their intentions towards a desired outcome. The Solar Witch essentially incorporates the sun's energy into their magickal practice to bring about positive change and manifest their desires. Solar magick can be used for various purposes such as asking for protection or blessings, developing confidence, or encouraging growth. It can bring peace and harmony into the life of the Solar Witch and those who seek their help. The green witches are in charge of providing food for the witches living in the thorpe, and they work closely with the sun practitioners to ensure that their crops are nourished with the right amount of sun energy. The sun practitioners report on the condition of the plants to the green witches, which allows them to adjust their agricultural practices as needed. By collaborating in this way, the witches are able to sustain themselves and thrive in their community.

Onto the third row, the Moon Witch.
Moon witches are practitioners who are deeply immersed in the fields of astrology and astronomy. They have a keen understanding of the lunar energies that govern the Moon cycle, and they use their knowledge to cast spells that either heighten or safeguard against celestial events. Moon witches are not passive in their practice; they actively seek to change energies through their craft.

In their community, moon witches are the ones who have been entrusted with the responsibility of controlling the moon cycle, which in turn governs shapeshifter creatures such as werewolves and moon chariots. Their influence over these creatures is sporadic, but it is significant. Moon practitioners make use of lycanthropic creatures to bring peace to the town, and in doing so, they become the protectors of their community. As a result, shapeshifters are held accountable to them, and they are responsible for maintaining order and harmony within the community.

In the current sequence of events, the fourth row marks the introduction of the Green Witch. These mystical practitioners are deeply attuned with nature and are devoted to healing and nurturing. Their power, tools, and rituals are all derived from the natural world and the great outdoors. They rely heavily on plant, flower, and herbal preparations as their primary source of spell ingredients and ritual content, which in turn enable them to play a crucial role in sustaining their community's well-being by providing essential food supplies.

Green witches hold a deep reverence for nature and regard it as the highest authority. Their practice revolves around establishing a profound connection with nature, and they spend a great deal of time researching the history, traditions, and cultural significance of various plants and herbs. They incorporate their findings into their rituals, potions, and spells, utilizing them to harness the full potential of nature's power.

Fifth row, there goes the Lycanthropes. Lycanthropes, also known as werebeasts, are a peculiar type of creatures that possess the ability to transform into three distinct forms: humanoid, hybrid, and animal.
