In a small neighbourhood located in the city of Milwaukee, a girl sat in her towns diner, staring into the abyss of her coffee cup. Her cherry red hair being a noticeable feature on her; styled in a carefree wolf cut. She was somewhat a simple girl, with a quirky edge. Wearing her favourite cropped cardigan and a low waisted skirt and knee high boots. Around her neck, her signature red scarf.

The diner wasn't particularly busy at this time of day. 8am and only four people could be counted. The old married couple, that every morning without fail, would get a serving of freshly made pancakes and stare lovingly into each other's eyes. The man in his business suit, reading his newspaper and rushing every bite of his eggs while he occasionally glanced at his watch; not to be late for work. And then, there was Nova.

"You sure you don't want anything else dear?" Nova looked up at the same middle aged waitress, who not too long ago, had asked if she wanted pancakes or a side of eggs to go with her coffee.

"No that's okay. Thank you." Nova smiled.

"Are you traveling far?" Glancing down at the suitcase placed beside Nova feet, the waitress looked down with a smile.

"San Francisco."

"Ooo San Francisco!" The waitress's Minnesotan accent brought a smile to Nova's face; suddenly reminding her of her aunt Barbra. "Just me being nosy, but what's in San Francisco?" She took a seat, making Nova chuckle softly.

"Well, I have a friend that just opened up an art gallery...and she wants me to work there. So I thought why not. I don't exactly have much going for me here in Milwaukee. My mum isn't too keen on the idea though." Staring down into her coffee cup, Nova sighed and sipped as the waitress watched her.

"Oh? Why?" Tilting her head slightly the waitress asked. What initially was supposed to be a brief interaction, ended up being a somewhat comforting conversation. One where Nova could completely let down her guard, as if she was talking to a friend.

"....my dad lives in San Francisco. My mom really isn't a fan of him."

"Oh are they separated? Your mom and dad?"

"Yeah. I think my mom....doesn't want me to spend time with him. It's funny because, I'm so used to my mom hating my dad, I can't even imagine them ever being love. But my journey isn't about him." Nova glanced up briefly before staring down at her now empty coffee cup.

"What Is your journey about dear?" She asked softly.

".....I don't know yet. Maybe there is no answer." Nova fiddled with her hands.

"Like being stuck on the rings of Saturn?" Smiling genuinely, Nova looked up and nodded at her statement.

"Exactly like that." Smiling softly, Nova eyes filled with tears. She bit her lower lip slightly, in an attempt to hold them back.

"You know dear, it doesn't have to be a trap. When Saturn returns, it's the most wonderful feeling. Give it time." The waitress reached forward and gently held Nova's hands. "Are you travelling all by yourself dear?"

Nova shook her head.

"Umm.....my ex boyfriend is driving me." Nova awkwardly scrunched her brows.

"Oh? I take it you must be great pals then?"

"Not exactly...." Nova looked down as she chuckled softly and continued. "There's the good and then, there's the bad....."
