Sohyun was slumped on his bed, the ceiling fan spinning lazily above him. The soft hum of the latter was almost hypnotic, but not enough to ward off the boredom that was engulfing him.
Although he now shares a house with his brand mate and boyfriend, Junhui, the two still have their own room in the dorm and Sohyun really liked to spend a lot of time there. The familiarity of this dorm always gave him a unique feeling of comfort.
The dorm was unusually quiet today. The majority of the seventeen members were absent either for their individual schedules or for their personal activities. The only ones there were Minghao, Vernon, Chan and Mingyu, all gathered in the living room, probably watching TV. The usual noise and energy that always filled the dorm was all absent, replaced by a peaceful calm.
A wave of boredom washed over Sohyun and he sighed deeply. Having nothing better to do, he decided it was time to have a little fun by annoying one of his group members. His mind landed on Mingyu, and a smirk quickly appeared on his face as he thought of the younger boy, who was always clingy towards him.
Yeah, Mingyu would be his perfect victim today.
Sohyun swung his legs out of bed, his dusty blonde hair falling messily across his forehead. He stretched his body, feeling every pull of his muscles. Shirtless and clad in light gray sweatpants, he lazily grabbed an oversized white t-shirt from a chair and pulled it on before heading out of his room.
When he entered the living room, the scene unfolded as he expected. Minghao was immersed in a book, his beautiful brown eyes scanning the pages with intense concentration. Vernon, with his headphones on, was absorbed in whatever he seemed to be watching or listening to on his phone. Chan and Mingyu were the only ones watching television, their eyes fixed on the screen.
Chan noticed Sohyun first. "Oh, hyung ! Come join us. The movie is pretty funny," he called out, his voice breaking the soothing silence.
Mingyu, always eager for Sohyun's company, quickly shuffled onto the couch, patting the empty spot next to him. "Yeah, sit here," he said, his eyes bright with expectation and a smile on his face.
