‘I… see a… Green thing staring at me from through the what is a… holding thing. They have no.. what is it? Feely stuff… in those big weird looking balls?’

‘Mother… Is it… My mother? It’s speaking to me’

’The endless questions and big words it gives are very hard for me…. Will it let me go?’

‘It’s leaving.. Don’t go away.. I need to know what’s going on… I’m scared..’

‘And cold….’

The sound of subtle beeps and bubbles from the tubes echo in the underground chamber under, Princess Twilights castle. A few clops of hooves sounding off every few half hours, studying the creature incubating in the tube like containment unit in the center of the room. Twilight wearing her signature crown and some goggles with a white trench lab coat. Clipboard in a subtle magi hue with papers full of failed and successful experimenting tests scribbled all over each page. She scanned and scanned the page of the test subject she has been working on for the past 3 months since the illness took over Princess Luna. Luna had been caught with a mysterious illness that only hurts Alicorns and Doctors and even Twilight have been working on a cure. But Twilight has also been working on a back up in any case Luna couldn’t make it through such a tough battle. She has tiredly worked for a new way to save and preserve Luna’s legacy and she’s went through 526 creatures, finally being able to build a successful object.

"Finally… She’s beautiful and perfect as a replacement for Luna if for what reason she doesn’t make through her mystery illness. Even though she IS strong enough to make it through it, I wouldn’t put it past her if she ever didn’t have the strength to push through and let the darkness consume her. During my diration of building a back up if things goes south and looking through every library around Equestria looking for a cure. I haven’t been getting enough rest and meals in case anything goes wrong. The others worry about me and always ask me why I always disappear for hours on end and only show up right after supper ends..

I’m sure they’ll take care of everything about my new creation.
I can’t tell them anything about what im doing down here. They don’t even know i keep an good amount of cells down here for testing and creating things for severe cases like the one we’re in now.

For now I will let… Oddity Starswirl Arrow out of her creation containment unit tubing and carry her to her new starter chambers so she can sleep more. I’ll check on the Princess directly after to check her vitals and make some more serums to see how the react to her illness and maybe bring her some more health and strength. Let’s just hope that the night won’t end and start the end of us all…"

After naming her new creation. Twilight drained the liquid from the containment unit and helped her daughter awake from her slumber.

What ever the future holds, The Princess of Friendship, Princess Twilight Sparkle will be on a special mission to over see that her creation fufills the necessary things to fill the role of Princess Luna or remain as her daughter if the Princess of the Moon lives past this tragic blight.
