Barnacles - Glad for the captain's help with his driving skills, and for his support in his research. also if Shellington needs a partner to ramble to and Dashi & Inkling are gone, He'll just ramble to the Captain, because he knows he may not understand all of it, but he'll be listening to him.
Kwazii - Slightly annoyed with Kwazii's disinterest in the sciences, but admires Kwazii's confidence in his driving skills, and hopes he'll be able to drive like him (without crashing). It all balances out.
Peso - As said earlier, Shellington hurts himself, while Peso fixes him up. On the other hand, Peso always comes to him whenever making new medicine or ointment for different creatures to make sure it wouldn't hurt them.
Dashi - Finds her company comforting. Loves filling out his creature collection together with her; she takes the photos, and he writes down the records. he also admires her mastery over the gups.
Tweak - He always apologises for crashing her gups, but makes up for it by helping her sometimes with helping her draft blueprints for new gups and telling her fun facts about animal anatomy.
