“yeah yeah , i'll go grab her.” the called out man said , with a slump to his shoulders as he turned around to go retrieve his daughter.

‘this was bound to happen , and shiori cannot find out about this. i want [name] to grow on her own , not with her mother's harsh training' the man thought while opening the door to the “play room”.

“[name]!-” he called out , “-let’s go see grandpa zeno now.” he told his daughter as she ran up to him ,

“eehh?” she groaned out questionable , “but me and llumi just started playing papa.”

“i know i know , but this is important honey.” he told the girl squatting to her height to pick her up.

“*sigh* , fine papa , i'll go with you.” she complied , even though she didn't want to.

“bye bye llumi.” she sadly waved to him ,

“bye bye [name].”

after the farewell , the father-daughter duo went back to the room the said father had come from.

“why do you need me for , papa?” [name] asked from her father's arms.

“I need to tell you about something ,-” he looked down at his daughter , his walking speed slowing , “-something that not even your mother knows about.”

‘something that not even mother knows about?’ the girl thought , curiosity spiking.

“okay! we're here , you ready?” he asked the child who had moved down to the ground,

“yup! all set , papa!” the girl responded, awaiting what was bound to happen on the other side of the door.

ryuunosuke opened the door and led [name] into the room , and there waited chrollo , paku , zeno and a cup full of water with a single leaf on top.

the first spider i manifested earlier poked its head out from where it was on my shoulder to see what was going on , i spoke up after i the cup of water on the table ,

“chrollo , do i have to do the hatsu thingy again?” i asked him , almost excited because i was about to get a new friend just like ku , the first spider i manifested.

“oh? you’ve already done this [name]?” grandpa zeno asked , his eyes perking up with curiosity at this new information.

“yup!” i stated , pointing a finger at ku before continuing , “that's where i got ku from!”

after i said that ku fully rested on my shoulder rather than hiding behind it , becoming a bit more comfortable with the situation at hand.

“i was wondering who that was.” papa said , a slight chuckle surrounding his statement , and while also reaching a finger out to ku , as to get more acquainted with him.

ku accepted papa’s request and climbed onto his finger while i got onto the table with the help of paku-nee ,

“thank you , paku-nee!” i thanked her as she had a small smile on her face while going back to chrollo.
