CHAPTER ONE
( DEMENTORS )

MARJORIE TRESLOR RAN through the brick wall to get onto platform 9 3/4 with a large smile. When she opened her eyes and saw the Hogwarts Express waiting for everyone to board, she glanced behind her to make sure her mum and Rosalia were there.

After confirming that they were, she began to look around the platform. It didn't take long to find the Weasley family – their red hair a defining characteristic for the bunch. She squealed and ran toward them, throwing her arms around one of the boys.

"Oi!" he exclaimed.

He managed to balance himself by gripping onto the raven-haired boy beside him. He turned to look at her and let out a breath when he realized who it was.

"Mars!" Ron huffed.

"Ronny!" she grinned, squeezing him before letting go.

She gave both Harry and Hermione bone-crushing hugs before greeting the Weasley family. Mrs. Weasley pressed a kiss to her forehead and Mr. Weasley asked about her summer. Ginny gave her a quick hug – which was a stark contrast to the way Fred and George tackled and nearly suffocated her – and Percy was off with his girlfriend.

Unfortunately, Marjorie didn't get the chance to talk much more because the train let out a warning whistle that meant it was about to leave the station.

She turned toward her mum and Rosalia, who had been talking to Mrs. and Mr. Weasley. "I'll write you as soon as I get there," she promised, like she'd done the previous two years.

"Good," Athena smiled at her daughter. "Stay safe, yeah?"

During Marjorie's first year, the Philosopher's Stone had been kept at Hogwarts. Convinced that the potions professor, Snape, was trying to steal it, she, Ron, Hermione, and Harry had gone through the multiple tricks and traps set by their professors to guard the stone. Ron and Harry had both ended up in the infirmary.

In her second year, Ginny was possessed by Tom Riddle – He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named – and opened the Chamber of Secrets. In doing that, she'd also released the basilisk, a giant snake that petrified muggle-borns. Hermione ended up in the infirmary then.

And now, in her third year, Sirius Black had escaped from Azkaban.

Athena had half the mind to sent her daughter to Beauxbatons.

Marjorie smiled. "I'll try."

Athena tsked and wrapped her arms around the girl. "I love you."

"Love you, too," Majorie replied, pulling away and turning toward the woman beside her.

Her mum refused against house-elves when she married her father, and instead hired Rosalia. She'd been working at Treslor Manor since before Marjorie was even born, so she was less a housemaid than she was family.

"Love you, Rosie," Marjorie said.

"Have fun," Rosalia told her, eying Harry. "Not too much fun."

"Okay," Marjorie giggled, grabbing her trunk. She waved to the adults before grabbing her cat-carrier and boarding the train with the others.
