"Is it okay if I have the boys over tonight?" He asked you. You nodded while turning to grab another tissue to blow you nose into it.
You had been sick for the past week and no matter how much antibiotics you took or how much you tried to drink or eat something, nothing helped.
Honestly, you were glad Liam asked you this question because he has done nothing but taking care of you. He had been laying here in bed with you all the time while you watched the old original Disney movies. He did everything for you; Bringing you tea if you wanted to, holding your hair back while you threw up in the toilet, even dipping a cold cloth on your head every hour for the high temperature to come down.
"Of course," You told him. "But please don't be too loud. I still have a huge headache and I'm also going to go to sleep early." He nodded and gave you a pinky promise.
That night when the boys arrived, you were still awake. You heard them talking very loudly, greeting each other before Liam shushed them and mumbled something you couldn't hear.
It had been kind off quiet the rest of the night, Liam clearly keeping his promises. Well, at least you thought he could. As the night was going by, the volume downstairs kept creeping up every second until you couldn't take it anymore.
You put on your robe over your pajamas because you felt cold as hell and went down. You walked in the living room and you saw that the guys were all watching a football match while drinking beer and whatever other alcohol they could find on the shelves.
You let out a cough causing five heads to turn around and look at you. "Hey babe," Liam stood up from his spot on the couch and turned down the volume of the tv. "What's wrong."
"I just came down to look what you were doing. You are quite loud." You said.
"I'm sorry, but we're just watching a match and -" Liam was cut off by Niall causing him to get angry.
"We're sorry, (Y/N), we'll just keep it down," Niall said.
"No!" Liam suddenly yelled causing everyone to jump. No one had expected this sudden outburst. "We don't have to do anything for her! She just needs to go back upstairs and stop being such a clingy bitch!"
I just stood there, completely frozen by what he just said. He at least could've told me to leg him free a little. It's not my fault I'm sick and need all of his help.. But he just told me he doesn't want me to be a bitch. I let that sink in and I got tears in my eyes.
"Mate, you don't know what you're saying," Harry also started to get involved now while the rest of the group looked down or fiddled with their fingers, witnessing for my part the worst day of my life. "You're obviously tipsy."
"I know exactly what I'm saying!" Liam snapped, causing me to jump slightly. All the boys looked at me with looks full of sympathy. They also clearly didn't know what had gotten into Liam at the moment.
"It's fine. I'll just be upstairs," I choked back my tears and turned around, running up the stairs to the master bedroom. I closed the door and locked it and slid down on the carpet in our room. I sobbed heavily at first but it began to get more silent as I heard all of the boys yelling downstairs. That went on for a few more minutes before it quieted down and I could only hear mumbles.
I heard the door slam shut and I knew the boys left, which meant for Liam to try to apologize to me.
I wanted him to apologize for his behavior. I wanted to forgive him. But only if he had a valid reason on why he acted like that. Otherwise I would just need some time. That didn't mean we had to break up, just him sleeping on the couch for the night so I could think properly.
And yes, as I already predicted I heard Liam knock on our bedroom door and softly calling my name. "Y/N, please open the door. I just want to talk to you," He said. "We can talk like this just fine," I answered.
"No, we can't and you know that," I heard him sigh and he tried to open the door once again. "Please just let me in, please," I heard him beginning to sob quietly and as much I wanted to deny it at this moment, hearing or seeing Liam cry made your heart break. The only thing you wanted to do right now is open the door and let him back in your arms.
You stood up and you immediately started to feel dizzy. So you opened the door and sat back down on the bed because you couldn't hold your balance any longer because of your dizziness.
Liam had heard the lock click so he walked through the door and straight to the bed to sit next to you and you let him. He wrapped his arms around you and pulled you closer and as much as you wanted to fight against him, you couldn't in your weakened state.
"I'm so sorry, babygirl," he sobbed in my hair. "Please forgive me. I'm such an idiot and it was so stupid what I had said to you but I am truly sorry. Please forgive me baby?" He looked up in your eyes again and his were all red and puffy.
His expression turned from sad to concerned when he saw you so sick and weak. "Do you need to lay down, baby?" He asked you. He was clearly more concerned about your unhealthy state than the stupid things he said, which was in your eyed a good thing.
The only thing you could do was nod and he gently laid you back down on the bed. "We'll talk about this late when you feel better, alright?" You only just nodded once again. He tucked you both in under the covers and you could hear him say one more thing before you fell asleep:
"I love you."
