It Was In Plain Sight!

I slowly woke up and look around me, i move the sheet away from me and i discover that im using my old pajamas. "Weird.." i stand up but the moment i do, my head does a back flip and i fell back on the floor. I held my mouth while feeling puke traveling up.

I ran to the bathroom and start puking everything out. When i was done, i sat on the concrete floor. Trying to find out what happened yesterday, but everything in my mind was a blank.

"Chloe is a friend everyone needs really" I thought Chloe once again brought me home like the few last times. "Let me treat her to a cake" I went out and found my phone in the hallway on the floor.

I picked it up and called Chloe, she didnt answer. I texted her "Thank you for being such a responsible hoe, let me treat you to cake today!" I sent it and went to take a shower.

When i was done, i checked my phone. "It was Leon, he brought you home but i wouldn't mind the cake part :P" Chloe responded. Leon? I probably caused him a lot of trouble. "Thanks for everything yesterday, hope you enjoyed it <3" i sent a text to Leon, not putting much thought into it.

Leon is a cute quiet coworker, so i do appreciate his presence. I check the text between me and Leon, last time we talked was about a project together 6 months ago. It wasn't really a talk, we just exchanged documents. My eyes go down to his profile under my text that signifies that he read it. He read it 6 minutes ago... "DID THIS BASTARD REALLY LEAVE ME ON READ?" I screamed into my phone.

"LeOn iS a CuTe cOWorKeR!?" MY ASS. "Not even a you welcome? Ugh whatever." I Stand up and dress up. On the weekends, girls need to be dressed up once in a while. I put on a cute dress and styled my hair in a bun.

As i am walking to the station, i check my phone and send a text to Chloe, telling her I'm close. Before i look up, i bump into someone. I look up and see a refined back and a smell of fresh lemon sweeps into my nose. I suddenly get a flash of something but its very blurry. The man turns around and we make eye contact. "Mr Leon?" I say and tilt my head. Leon had dressed up pretty neat and nicely, his hair was styled. He looked at me awkwardly. "M-Ms.. Violet.." Leon responded while avoiding my eyes.

My eyes slightly shifted down to his neck to see small bruises. My eyes widened when i realized this man was getting game while i want. I felt little angry that a quiet coworker has more rizz than me but i shook myself back to reality because its none of my business.

I take a notice his that one of his glasses has a crack on it. It was probably because of me since Chloe mentioned he brought me home. "Im sorry for your glasses, if i just didn't drink too much yesterday that wouldn't have happened" I said to him with a little shame. For a split second he looked sad but then slowly turned into a gentle smile with his dimples showing. "No worries." He gave a very short answer.

"You should smile often, you look charming when you do." I told him after witnessing his smile. He looked at me silently. "I will, thank you." He responded but i could hear Chloe screaming at me from behind to catch my attention so i look back. "Excuse me for a moment.." I could hear Leon from behind. He undid my bun which made my hair fall apart. "Huh??" I looked at him confused. "You look prettier with your hair down." He responded with the warmest smile. I could feel my cheeks warming up after seeing him smile like that.

Chloe caught up with me and started heavily panting after running to me. "Wow.. i never thought you did invite Leon too." Chloe said under her breath. "Oh no, i just bumped into him earlier. But thats a good idea" i respond to Chloe and shift my attention to Leon. "Mr Leon, since i caused you so much trouble yesterday, how about i treat you to a cake?" I ask and smile while pulling out my card to show off. "Sadly, i have to get my glasses fixed and take my cat home from the vet." He responded and looked away.
