The Light

The Light (Oneshot)

As people don't care about reading the freaking description, I'm writing it here. So basically this is my friend's story but she doesn't have a wattpad account so I'm writing it for her here. I hope you all enjoy it!!!

There was once a little girl named Lily. She was from a family of four. One day her parents took her to see a new movie named "The Light". In the movie, it showed a small ball of light that would make people get attracted to it and follow it. The light would take people to a forest far away. When they get to the middle of the forest the light suddenly disappears and leaves people to find their way out. It took a few years for some of them to find their way out or, they would get killed by the spirits. Young Lily took a liking to the movie and thought about it on her way back home. She had a nice supper and went to bed. When she was sleeping, she had a dream. She saw the same ball of light coming towards her. Lily let go of her guard and followed the light into the forest. Suddenly, the ball disappeared, leaving young Lily alone in the forest. Lily kept on walking until she saw a little cottage. An old lady came out and asked Lily "What are you doing here all alone my child?", so Lily explained her situation and the old lady agreed to take her inside the cottage. There the lady whose name was Allegra gave some warm porridge to Lily and put her to sleep. The next day when Lily got up, she realized that the old lady and the cottage were not there. So she decided to keep on going forward until she saw her house. She was almost near her house when she fell into a pit with sharp rocks at the bottom and woke up, realizing it was all a dream.

                                                               ALTERNATE ENDING

(It starts after the old lady put Lily to sleep) Lily woke up and realized that the old lady and the cottage were not there. So she decided to keep on going forward until she saw her house. She saw that her house was abandoned. She could see a few spirits nearby and asked them where the owners of the house were. The spirits told her that the owners had abandoned the house 5 years ago because their daughter had died. Lily thinking it was her sister, started to feel sad and leaned against a tree, when she realized that she could go through the tree. Lily at that moment realized that the dead girl was her and that she had been stuck in a time-loop for 5 years.(My own little part) After she realized that, her spirit became free and went to heaven.
