The door that lead to the path going to the gym slowly opened. From there, Y/n could hear people talking and the sound of shoes squeaking on the gym floor. She caught sight of a familiar blonde haired girl standing behind Kiyoko, she was shaking and holding onto the older girl's shoulders, as if to take cover. Y/n walked closer to the gym, taking off her school shoes by the door.
"Y/n! You're here too!!" Yachi said in relief and surprise. Yachi and Y/n were classmates and happened to sit near each other in class, they've been friends ever since they got paired up to do a project. "Oh, Yachi" Y/n said, a smile gracing her lips at the sight of her friend. "Two new managers!?" Two guys shouted, tears in their eyes for some reason. "Thank goodness, there will be managers next year too" A guy with long brown hair said with a relieved smile. "They haven't actually joined yet" Kiyoko immediately corrected, seeing that Yachi was struggling to explain. "I asked them to do this today at the last minute, L/n said she'd be a bit late but here she is now." Kiyoko looked at the girl as if signaling her to introduce herself.
"Hello, I'm L/n Y/n.. but please call me Y/n.." She introduced herself, she was never one for formalities and let the people that she was acquainted with to use her first name. "Oh! Y/n!" Hinata waved at her. Y/n waved back to her friend. Y/n's younger sister was the bestest of friends with Natsu, Hinata's younger sister. They'd have sleepovers and that got their older siblings to get to know each other and become friends. "Ehh?? Hinata you know her?" One of the guys that shouted asked Hinata with a face of disbelief, surprised that Hinata knew a pretty girl.

After Yachi left to go do her committee work, Y/n stayed in the gym with Kiyoko. The older girl said she'd just show her around the usual manager work. Y/n sat on the bench watching the players play a practice match.
'Wahh I never knew Volleyball could be such a fun sport! Well, the only sport I know is soccer anyway so... Come to think of it.. how is Rin doin-'
Her thoughts were interrupted by her phone ringing. Surprised the sudden ring, she quickly pulled it out of the pocket of her school skirt to answer it. "Hello??" She greeted.
"Didn't you say your class ends at 4:00? I've been outside the gates since 3:55. Where are you." The familiar cool tone of the person speaking on the other end of the call made the girl realize she had planned something today. After a quick glance of the time she saw that it was already 4:16. "Oh! my bad, i'll be there right away, sorry!" She said after a chuckle. Ending the call the girl managed to catch Kiyoko's attention, who was sitting right next to her. "Sorry, Shimizu Senpai.. Someone's waiting for me so I'll get going now" Y/n said apologetically but the older girl understood and reassured her that it was okay.
