The Young Lady

"Lady Oldford, please wait, your father still hasn't responded to your request.", an old man in servant clothes declared, looking worried at a young girl. She was wearing a blue dress, that was assorted with her blue necklace that had a gemstone in it. She looked at the servant with her piercing blue eyes. She raised her finger, pointing at the servant.

"I want to go there, so be fast, 'cause I don't love waiting.", she said, staring at the servant. He bowed and went upstairs. The girl sat on the couch and examined every maid that entered the place and left.

"I hope Father will agree to my request. I still want to understand the Rosewind family's plans for Elfire's banishment. I don't think they will let Elfire unharmed. ", she said to herself. Her thoughts were all about Elfire after his banishment, they had a normal relationship, and could declare without any worry that she was the closest friend he had.

She was ready to leave on her own after she waited for 30 minutes or more, but then the door was open, and an adult with an aura that filled the whole aura made his appearance.

"Father... ", she murmured watching the man with white hair taking a place on one of the chairs. He had yellow eyes, the single thing she didn't inherit from him.

"I heard you want to go somewhere, did I hear wrong, Alice? ", he said smiling at her. The smile was a forced one on his lips, she could notice the lost sleeping hours. She remained calm and calculated, even though the forced smile still gave her a dangerous feeling.

"Yes, I want to... go to the Roseeimd residence and examine some things under the act of establishing friendly interaction with Elfire's stepbrother. ", She explained her whole plan to her father, without leaving any detail, she chatted most positively way and tried to not forget any drawbacks. Her father listened very attentively. After she finished, he looked at her, smiling.

"I am still gonna decline. ", he smiled. Alice was not surprised by the response, she expected that but mostly hoped that he wouldn't give such a response.

"Why? ", she demanded an answer from her father. He looked at her white uninterested by her wish.

"Is that boy gonna change something, if I help or I don't help? ", he asked, standing up and taking Alice's hands in his palms.

"I know that a five-year banishment for punching the prince is quite exaggerated. But even if I demand justice for a lower punishment or a more peaceful one. The prince would support the Rosewind's decision. I know we are one of 5 great families, but if I get into a conflict with the prince, the other 4 would use that opportunity. ", he explained, he loved his daughter, cause she was the single daughter he had. His whole wish was to see her smile, but he needed to explain the drawbacks of helping her with this request. "He is nothing like his father...", her father murmured, she didn't hear anything and watched helplessly how he left the room. He left with a goodbye and went back to work
