~the next morning~
Lucy's next to Tamara reading a book while Tamara still lays there asleep.
Tim comes in the room
T- morning
Lucy gets up to go give him a kiss
L- morning
T- how is she
They both look at Tamara room the door way and look back at each other
L- not so good I'm gonna need to stay with her for a few days just to make sure she doesn't do anything
T- ok well I got to go to work. Love you
Tim gives Lucy a kiss
L- love you
Tim walks out a Lucy goes back on the bed and starts reading again
~10 mins later~
Tamara wakes up
TA- mhmm
L- hey how you feeling
TA- the same
Tamara sits up and leans on Lucy
Lucy moves her arm to rest on Tamara's other shoulder and lays her head on-top of Tamara's.
TA- no one's ever gonna treat me right or love I just can't find anyone that's right
L- no Tamara you don't love for love. Love comes to you. Chris and Caleb they weren't love they weren't for me bc I found them. Tim we came so eachother and love started at the first time we met but we didn't figure that out till a year ago.
TA- you and Tim were made for each other
L- how about the guy you ran into at Chris's office
TA- no no
Tamara sits up with a big smile
L- mhmm you like him
TA- Noo I don't
L- mhmm
TA- ok fine yes i kinda like him
L- yes i knew it
TA- how long
L- since you met him
TA- omg was it that obvious
L- very
TA- that's why Noah started acting different. I was thinking abt ending things before but I never did
L- well you can now and take a break you know get yourself back to before and then work things out maybe with Austin.
TA- yeah actually that's what I may do
L- do what you need
Lucy smiles and gets up
L- you want any pancakes?
TA- 3 please
L- ok I'll go make some and then we will go to the station and get all the paper work figured out
TA- ok
~30 mins later~
L- Tamara pancakes done
TA- coming!
Tamara walks out the room
TA- oooo and blueberries
L- yes how could I forget
~ they finish eating~
L- ok ready to go
TA- wait would I have to see him
L- yeah
TA- do I have to go
L- no you don't have to go
TA- sorry I just don't wanna see him
L- that's ok you don't have to go, you can stay here.
TA- thanks
L- I'll have Angela come get the papers and bring them to the station
TA- ok. Well I'll be in my room
L- ok I'll clean up
Tamara leaves to her room and Lucy cleans up but Tamara's hiding something and Lucy knows she is but just leaves it alone till later.
Angela knocks and Lucy lets her in
A- hey how is she
L- mhmm I'd say better but she's hiding something I just know she is.
A- what do you think she's hiding
L- she's been wearing a lot of long sleeves and she hates long sleeves
A- and it's summer
L- idk maybe I'm thinking to much
A- no your just being a mom and looking out for her
L-your think I'm a good mom?
A- well she may not be your actual related daughter but to her your her mom.
L- I mean she did steal my car to get here.
A- and you taught her to be better. Lucy you're a great mom.
Angela hugs Lucy and pulls away.
A- go check on her you know talk to her or wait untill she comes to you.
L- thanks. Oh and here's the papers. Try not to kill him please.
A- well it depends on what I read in these papers
L- watch Tim don't let him get close
A- greys gonna have to watch both of us
They laugh a little
A- alright I'll call you once we're finished
L- ok bye
A- bye.
Angela leaves
Lucy goes to Tamara
L- hey Angela- oh Tamara what's wrong. You ok
Tamara's got a few years
TA- what if they don't put him away and he comes back to me
Lucy walks over to the bed and sits next to Tamara and holds her hand
L- there not gonna free him
TA- he didn't even do that much to me
L- no Tamara he did a lot to get him put behind bars. Try not to stress it's gonna be ok
TA- I need help to focus on other stuff other than-
L- other than hurting yourself
TA- you knew
L- I assumed you did
TA- I'm sorry Lucy
L- it's ok. How long have you been doing it
TA- almost a week
L- it's ok I'm not mad you can tell me everything I won't judge or be mad.
TA- everytime he hit me or touched me how I didn't like I would cut myself to help lose focus on him.
L- how many cuts
TA- 8
L- how many times did he hit you
TA- 4
L- so he touched you 4 other times
TA- n-no 3
L- so you cut 7
TA- no I cut eight but the last cut wasn't from that he-
TA- he tried to um
Lucy's heart starts racing as she hears Tamara's voice break when trying to tell her something. Lucy knows what she's trying to say but wants to make sure it's what she thinks
TA- he try'd to- r@pe me
L- oh hunny
Lucy closed the space between them and hugs her tight as they both have tears falling.
L- I'm sorry Tamara. You didn't deserve this any of this.
TA- I hate myself I hate him I- hate everything
L- I know Tamara. But things will slowly get better I promise
Lucy pulls the hug
And they look at each other
L- your strong Tamara ok. What he did to you wasn't man like at all and was just fucked up but your strong. You're gonna get through this but it's not just gonna go away.
TA- I just-just wa-want to have a normal life
L- oh Tamara.
Lucy hugged her again and held it
L- it's not over yet. But it will be soon
TA- no it- I'm tired Lucy
L- I know you are. It's not easy but it's not something to give up on just yet.
TA- it's hard to. And my cuts I try'd not to
L- we need to go to the hospital to get them cuts checked out. They could be infected.
TA- yeah o didn't think of that
L- we can go in a few hours. Let you relax take a breath and calm down then we can go.
TA- thanks Lucy. You've done a lot
L- I'll do anything for you.
