The table with green as its theme started to clap their hands together. I stood up and walked down the stage, towards the table with my head held high. I felt a lot better now that it was over. Even more confident.
I saw some girls wave me over on my way to the table so I walked up to them and sat down. The girl that had waved me over first had brown hair going just below her shoulders and brown eyes.
"Pansy Parkinson," She introduced herself.
"Nice to meet you Pansy," I gave her a small smile.
The other two girls who sat across from us said their names were Millicent Bulstrode and Tracey Davis. I'm not in the position to judge right now but the two girls did not seem like the nice and trusting kind. More like the mean girls of the school who could go behind your back whenever they felt like it. But again, I have just met them so I wouldn't know.
We all started talking for just a few minutes. They were asking me random questions about my life and I answered them as honestly as I could without letting out anything about the real me. Then suddenly out of nowhere, food popped up on the tables. So, so, so much food of all kinds. My mouth watered and the second some of the other kids started eating I did too.
I don't know how much I ate but It must have been a lot because I actually became full. I don't usually eat til I get full but I just couldn't stop. The food looked and tasted too good.
"Your attention please!" Dumbledore's voice brought me out of my thoughts. I looked up at him only to see a large object almost taller than himself standing behind him.
"I'd like to say a few words," He started, "Eternal glory, that is what awaits who wins the Triwizards tournament. But to do this, that student must survive three tasks. Three, extremely dangerous tasks. The Ministry has seen fit to impose a new rule. To explain all this, we have the head of the Department of International Magical Cooperation, Mr. Bartemius Crouch"
I turned my focus to a man that had just walked in. I assumed that he was the man Dumbledore just mentioned. He had a mustache and wax in his black-short-hair.
Suddenly out of nowhere lightning and rain struck inside from the clear magical roof. Everyone screamed and covered their heads.
Again out of nowhere a guy walked out of a door and raised his wand to stop the rain.
"Bloody hell. It's mad-eye Moody," I heard Ron say from the table I previously sat at.
"Alastor Moody? The Auror?" Hermione whispered-asked.
"Dark-wizard catcher. Half the cells in Azkaban are filled thanks to him," Ron explained.
What in the world in Azkaban?
"He's supposed to be mad as a hatter, though these days."
The guy walked with a heavy limp toward Dumbledore and then they shook each other's arms. I didn't focus anymore on the mad-eyed person and instead turned my focus on Dumbledore and the minister man.
