The sounds of heavy breathing filled the air. Everyone in too much shock to even speak, but all we really knew to be proud of is that we're alive.

The dyobi appeared,

"Look at all this! I guess you guys had some fun heh." It was looking at all of the head pieces on the ground. They were probably just the remains of the people who died. For some reason the dyobi started glittering like a Christmas tree, small golden lights surrounding it.

"Thank you, my dear celestials, for joining this channel! I hope you enjoy what events are about to come." Ah yes, celestials.

[Celestials are ascended incarnations and are the most powerful of the two types of scenario participants.]

That's what I could remember from the novel now if my memory is correct, what should happen next is...

"Hello dear incarnations we shall now start the sponsor selection!"

The sponsor selection is basically when you pick a celestial who is interested in being a sponsor to provide you, they can also help you in scenarios when you're in a tough situation but that also only happens if they like you. Some celestials could like you for how you are while others could just want to be your sponsor to see your demise.

Once you pick a sponsor you will gain a stigma or a skill from that celestial.

A small dark blue panel appeared in front of everyone, one panel each for everyone I guess...

Let's see, if I was a normal incarnation, I would be struggling to know which sponsor I should pick but I know from 3wts (3 ways to survive) on who is best. I really am surprised at the number of celestials who are interested in me.

The first celestial is Silent watcher hmm I haven't heard of this celestial during the novel and their modifier doesn't seem too important, so this is probably a weak celestial.

The second one is Demon-like Judge of evil; I know this one the 'Demon like' which means 'isn't a Demon' then the words 'Judge and evil' were added.

A being who isn't a Demon and made judgements from evil I'd have to say that this would be the Archangel Uriel as someone from the novel had chosen her as their sponsor. Sadly, even though this was a powerful celestial she was apart of a group called the 'Absolute good system' which meant that I could only use her skill on people who were 'truly evil', sorry Uriel.

The third one is Creature of thievery; this was a celestial in a group called the black mist but they are just.. Wait a minute why am I even doing this?

Even as I look at all of these celestials most of them have restrictions on their power like Uriel or how the creature of thievery is really strong, but it takes control of the mind of the incarnation and slowly turns them into an insane killing machine. I guess I must make that choice.

[ Sponsor selection has ended]

The dyobi spoke up,

"Hah! It seems like one of you has made an interesting choice..." It smugly exclaimed.

Everyone looked at each other wondering if their safety was confirmed. I looked around and saw a small kid. He looks about 10?

Wait a minute, isn't that the kid who had the bugs?

Remembering now flashed back to when I sneaked an insect for him to kill, it was only fair anyway. I walked up to the kid and asked,

"Do you want to live?" It was a bold but honest question; he looked up at me and just nodded. I could understand, the events that just happened were all very nerve-wracking.

The dyobi spoke up again,

"Please wait here while the scenario is in making." And it vanished away.

I quickly turned around and said, "We need to get out of here, it's too dangerous to stay." The survivors of the train car I was in just looked at me shocked, the department head just looked at me with a glare and rudely shouted.

"Hey! What do you know huh? It's probably saver in here than out there!"

He was clearly just scared of going outside.

"Listen Anxel, if you listened to what the dyobi said it was preparing a new scenario and the other one the first one was the thing that left this place like it." waving around to all of the dead bodies in sight, it truly was gruesome.

Anxel suddenly got mad and exclaimed "ITS DIRECTOR HEAD ANXEL TO YOU!"

I deadpanned "we aren't even at work" and growing serious "And do you think that there would even be a workplace anymore?".

Surya suddenly spoke up softly "I agree with Honja I think we should get out of here..."

Anxel suddenly, changing personality "Ha ha ha... yeah, I t-think we should leave this place too..." Huh what do you know.

"Ahem excuses me?" A voice speaks up we all turn to the sound of the voice, all we see is a guy at least 5 foot eight and he speaks up softly "Hello my name is and I have been in the army for about a year now, so please let me help you with this I might be at least of some use to you.."

Ah something was a part of the novel "The Shining Steel Sword" A man as strong as Hercules always striving to protect.

"Of course!" I replied with a smile. If there's one thing that said that was true it would be that he would be very useful.

Hey I'm not a bad guy but when you see an opportunity you got to take it.

"Hey sir if you're helping us then would you be so kind as to open this door for us?" If he is who he says, then he should be very strong even without knowing.

"Uh, ok?" he was sounding unsure "don't blame me if this doesn't work..." he finishes his sentence.

He tightens his muscles, walking over to the door holding onto the door frame. He then starts to push the two handles apart, struggling as he did so. But the door frame seemed light to him as it swiftly opened to reveal the smoky brown sky seeming like fires had burned, screams still filling the area.

Huffing from the amount of force it had taken him to open the door earlier, "I- huff- did it!" he sighed heavily with a sparkling smile on his face.

Everyone walked outside not knowing what our jounrney will lead to next.
