"Huh, you actually did it." Connor turned around to see that Victoria was standing in the doorway to the gymnasium, watching as the kids were grabbing the basketballs and they were shooting, dribbling around the gym.
"What, you doubted me?" Connor asked as Victoria shrugged, before Tyla, Tommy and Jaime were all racing forward to grab basketballs as well. "So, it's been a month and a half and you still haven't answered me. The kids are all for it, if you are." Connor said and Victoria sighed, before she was shrugging.
"You were right about Griff, he is ready to take over." Victoria admitted and Connor lifted his eyebrows, waiting for more information. "It is going to take me a while to remember that I'm not in danger constantly, if all hell breaks loose." She pointed out and Connor nodded. "But yeah, I suppose I'm coming with you guys. I can't just leave my kids alone."
"I feel like that was both a dig at me and also, a cautious yes." Connor replied carefully and Victoria laughed quietly, before she was nodding. "So, it's a yes? You're ready to let Griff take over?"
"Barring any emergencies that he can't handle on his own..." Victoria swiftly was rocking her head back and forth a little bit with a small shrug. "It's a yes." She decided and the kids who had been not-so subtle in eavesdropping, they were cheering and Victoria was laughing as all three of the kids were laughing and tackling her and Connor. "Ow! I'm still stiff, watch it!" Victoria yelped and Pav joined the hug along with Connor, as all six of them were hugging.
"How the hell did I get myself into this situation?" Victoria questioned and then Connor was laughing at her, before the kids were letting go and quickly racing towards the nearest container of basketballs.
Victoria watched the chaos unfold and even Dawn had shown up, laughing as she was catching onto Jaime's back and Jaime laughed, carrying Dawn around the gym as they were racing across the gym and Victoria was shaking her head. "Wow. You actually fucking did it." Victoria remarked and Connor shrugged, before he was reaching out a hand and Victoria glanced at him, before she took it.
"So... Are you going to torture Garrett while he is serving out his sentence?" Connor asked as Victoria scoffed.
"No, I'm going to do something to make it even worse for him from out here instead." Victoria stated and Connor turned around to look at her. "I'm going to take down whoever is bringing the Pyske into Lincoln City." She decided and Connor glanced over at her, before he was nodding.
"So, what's your plan?" Connor asked.
"Well... The plan starts with Davis." Victoria declared and Connor grinned at the words quickly now, before they were turning around to look at the kids again, just happy to see that they were all still alive.
"What do you mean?" Connor questioned and Victoria sighed.
"I have been invited to be the new Powered Consultant for the LCPD." Victoria replied and Connor laughed at the words. "I guess that Davis feels like he owes me or something, but he doesn't owe me shit. If anything, I owe him for saving my ass from more gunfire." Victoria said and Connor was nodding quickly.
"I for one, feel grateful that he did." Connor stated. "After all, what the hell was I going to do, being and working on my own with Jaime, Tyla, Tommy, Pav and now Dawn as well." Connor said and Victoria sighed.
"You would have figured it out eventually." Victoria remarked and silently, Connor was moving one of his arms around her shoulders. "Tommy would have loved this place too, you know." She said and Connor nodded.
"Yeah, I know." Connor murmured.
