As the morning sun filtered through the curtains of Matt's dorm room, he found himself waking to the faint sounds of laughter and chatter echoing from the common area. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, he glanced around the room, his gaze falling on the empty space beside him where Yuki had slept the night before.

A faint blush rose to his cheeks as memories of the previous night flooded his mind—a night filled with laughter, drinks, and a stolen kiss that had left his heart racing with anticipation. Yet, as he glanced at Yuki's rumpled bed, he couldn't help but feel a pang of uncertainty creeping over him.

With a sigh, Matt rose from his bed and made his way into the common area, where he found Yuki and her friends gathered around the kitchen table, their voices filled with excitement as they recounted the events of the previous night.

"Morning, Matt!" Yuki chirped, her voice bright and cheery as she flashed him a smile. "Sleep well?"

Matt nodded in response, his cheeks burning with embarrassment as he tried to shake off the memories of their intimate moment. "Yeah, slept like a log," he muttered, his voice hoarse with emotion.

As they settled into conversation, Matt found himself struggling to keep up with the lively banter and inside jokes shared between Yuki and her friends. He felt like an outsider, a silent observer in a world that seemed to move at a pace he couldn't quite keep up with.

And then, to his horror, Yuki's friends began to recount the events of the previous night—the drinks, the dancing, and the stolen kiss that had left Yuki in a state of blissful euphoria. Matt's heart sank as he listened to their words, his cheeks flushing with embarrassment as he realized the extent of his actions.

"Wait, what?" Matt stammered, his voice trembling with uncertainty as he glanced at Yuki, who looked at him with a puzzled expression.

"Yeah, you two were all over each other last night," one of Yuki's friends exclaimed, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. "It was so cute!"

Matt's mind reeled as he struggled to process the information, his heart pounding in his chest as he tried to make sense of the hazy memories that lingered at the edges of his consciousness. Had he really kissed Yuki? And if so, what did that mean for their friendship?

As the conversation continued, Matt found himself lost in a whirlwind of emotions—confusion, embarrassment, and a gnawing sense of regret that threatened to consume him from within. He wanted to reach out to Yuki, to apologize for his actions and make things right, but he couldn't find the words to express the turmoil raging within him.

And so, as the morning stretched into afternoon and the conversation shifted to lighter topics, Matt found himself retreating into silence, his thoughts consumed by the memory of a kiss that had left him questioning everything he thought he knew about himself and his feelings for Yuki.
