- Long chapter since it's a Grand Prix
chapter and that i'm going to be basing myself
off of real events that have already taken place
in the ongoing f1 2024 season last month :))

"I'm surprised no one had told the team earlier about Shenhe's injury." Ganyu asks the Scuderia's team principal, Zhongli Li Morax, with a quizzical expression plastered on her face as she sits herself easily onto a chair in the Ferrari paddock. " ... What should I do ? Do you think that will I be good enough, sir ?"

"Easing your mind would be a better option, Qi Lin." The brown haired man responds as he sets the red headphones aside. "The qualifying starts soon."

The light blue haired woman bobs her head in understanding, but she still continues to rock her feet back and forth with a stressed look in her eyes.

A young man suddenly makes a sign at her. He's wearing a red jacket with Ferrari's logo and signature touch of yellow. He has white hair, and his light blue irises meet hers. At the eye contact, Ganyu is a little too stressed, so she stands from her seat and zips up her race suit while grabbing her helmet from the back of the garage.

She walks to him with a silent nod. The young man, — or rather old boy for that matter, — requests for her to get into the SF24 Formula One model, Shenhe's race car. This time however, the vehicle's number isn't '63' as it usually is, but rather a smaller '37' painted in a lighter yellow colour.

Shenhe Cloud, Scuderia Ferrari's ace and the winner of this season's Inazuma Grand Prix in Ritou, had been diagnosed with appendicitis, and thus would be unable to take part in the upcoming Fontainean Grand Prix in Poisson.

Ganyu Qi Lin, a Formula Two rookie driver and F1 Academy participant had been called in, pretty late, to cover for Cloud and perform during the time of the race.

It's the last 'test' run before the actual Grand Prix race begins. There's a few particularities in Poisson, however. The track is known for its original design, with many turns and an elevated platform type of turn. It's a very dangerous track, surely. And the only reason why it still remains on the set list is because the country of Fontaine has insisted on funding it.
