𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐘 𝐕𝐎𝐋𝐏𝐄 𝐅𝐄𝐋𝐓 like the luckiest man in the world. He had it all. He was the shortstop for the team he grew up idolizing, the New York Yankees. He had amazing parents, great teammates, and a loving girlfriend who gave him the most precious gift of all, a baby girl.
It was one of the first warm days of the spring, and the team had the day off so when he got home from a workout, Anthony decided to grill some burgers for the family. As far as he knew, Y/N was upstairs taking a nap, while their daughter clung onto his leg, giggling and smiling up at her father while he tried to keep her at a safe distance so she wouldn't accidentally get burned. Eventually, he just picked her up and balanced her on his hip while he grilled.
"You're doing a good job, Daddy," she told him, patting his chest.
"You really think so, sweetheart?" he asked her, looking down at her with a smile. She nodded, grinning. He kissed the top of her head and she giggled.
