the next day it was the weekend. So Hayley sleped in a bit.
As Hayley sleeps in, Reese quietly gets up and heads to the bathroom. He can't help but notice how her long eyelashes lay on her cheeks, making her look even more innocent than usual.
she yawns and wakes up and turns onto her back. She thinks to herself "I'm hungry." She sits up and looks around the room for Reese. "Pookie!" She says awaiting his answer.
Reese emerges from the bathroom, wearing nothing but a towel around his waist. He's wet from taking a shower, and his hair is still damp. His eyes light up when he sees Hayley sitting up in bed.
She blushes looking up at his husky frame thenthen looks away. "sorry." She says softly and innocently
Reese smirks slightly, amused by her blush. He knows it's not like he hasn't seen it before. "Don't apologize," he says nonchalantly, reaching for a pair of sweatpants to pull on. "I just took a shower."
she chuckles and stands up. "I can see." she looks up at him with a sweet smile. she pulls her hair up into a ponytail. Then walks towards the bathroom.
As Hayley disappears into the bathroom, Reese can't help but admire her figure once again. He shakes his head, trying to clear his thoughts. When she emerges a few minutes later wearing a tank top and shorts, he has to force himself not to stare.
She walks in the kitchen and made her some cereal. "Want some?" She asked smiling at him like the events last night never happened.
Reese shrugs nonchalantly as he follows her into the kitchen. He grabs a bowl and starts to fill it with cereal, not bothering with milk. "Sure," he says with a smirk, taking a seat at the table across from her.
"Your weird." She chuckles. "Who eats cereal with no milk?" She throws a small cereal at him, while laughing hard.
Reese grins, catching the cereal with one hand and popping it into his mouth. He looks at her for a moment, assessing her behavior before deciding to play along. "Weird? Nah," he says casually, reaching for another handful of cereal.
she smiles widely, looking at him, her face red from laughing.
Reese raises an eyebrow at her, a small smile playing on his lips. "What's so funny?" he asks mockingly, trying to hide the slight twinge of jealousy he feels over her happiness.
"Nothing." Hayley takes a bite of her cereal, still smiling.
Reese rolls his eyes, but a smirk plays at the corners of his mouth. "You're awfully cheery this morning," he says sarcastically. "Did you finally manage to snag that rich boy you were chasing after?"
"maybe." she says looking away. "I don't know yet." she says taking another bite of her cereal.
Reese leans back in his chair, crossing his arms over his chest. "Well, I hope he's worth it," he says nonchalantly. "You know, there are plenty of other guys out there who would treat you better than some stuck-up asshole with money." (He's jealous.)
"oh, yeah jerk" she giggles throwing another small cereal at him
Reese smirks as he catches the cereal, but this time, he decides to retaliate. He leans back in his chair and narrows his eyes at her. "You know," he says slowly, "you might want to be careful about throwing things at me."
She smiles and puts her bowl in the sink and sits on the couch and turns on the TV.
Reese finishes his cereal quickly, then stands up from the table with a satisfied smile on his face. As he walks past her, he can't resist reaching out to roughly grab her arm, spinning her around to face him. "You know,"
