All she wanted was to return home and cuddle her boyfriend of five years. But that thought drained from her mind when she saw him fucking her so-called best friend. She sprinted out of the home, hearing her ex-best friend's and ex-boyfriend's voices calling after her, but twenty-five-year-old-year-old Henrietta Glitch didn't stop. She wanted to get away from the two people she trusted the most.

Her ex-boyfriend was her very first boyfriend and first kiss. She trusted him. He, along with her ex-best friend, were the only people that knew about her past. Henrietta Glitch, better known as Hattie, was an orphan never adopted. For the last seven years, Hattie has been running from her past. This town -- Hurricane, Utah -- has been the most extended place she has been. She met her ex-best friend and ex-boyfriend here. The cheaters were childhood best friends. Hattie felt something was happening but didn't want to believe it. Now, she has proof. Hattie was planning on leaving Hurricane and keeping on running. Hattie wished she could find a place she could call home, but the old orphan knew she would never get the family or home she wanted.

Hattie was walking down the street with her head hanging low when she felt something pulling her. She snapped her head up quickly, noticing nothing there. But the feeling didn't stop. Soon, something blue appeared in front of her. It looked like a portal. Hattie had a bad feeling about this. So, she was going to turn around. Unfortunately, fate had other plans for this twenty-five-year-old woman. Hattie felt like someone grabbed the back of her shirt and forced her back. She tried to let out a scream, but nothing came out. Soon, her vision turned black when the portal closed.

=====================================

"Hey," Hattie heard a male's voice, "Are you alright?"

She groaned in pain before opening her eyes slowly. Hattie leans on her elbows, looking at the person. Her eyes widened slightly, noticing this man was the creator of Five Nights at Freddy's -- Scott Cawthon. She knew about the games, but Hattie never played them before. Her eyes drifted around, noticing she wasn't in her home. She glanced back at Scott, who straightened up and held his hand down towards her. However, Hattie didn't take it. She got up fine.

"I'm fine," she replied, wiping the dirt off her jeans, "Where the heck are we? Why are we in the woods?"

"I have no idea. I was spending time with my family when I was forced into a portal that appeared in my family room. I woke up a few minutes ago, noticing you, miss. How did you end up here? Oh, I'm Scott Cawthon."

Hattie didn't want to give him the truth, so she lied, "I was taking a walk after a long day at work. I'm Henrietta Glitch. Please call me Hattie."

Scott raised his eyebrow, "Glitch? I have never heard that as a last name before."

Hattie got very uncomfortable, making her duck her head down and walk past Scott. He caught on quickly.

"Henrietta! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable!"

She walked out of the woods with tears in her eyes. Scott isn't the only one who questioned her last name; when she was younger, she didn't have a last name. She came up with the previous name Glitch when she was found by the police, who took her back to the orphanage. She wasn't going to share that with Scott.

She didn't notice where she was going when she ran into someone. Both of them fell to the ground.

"Not again!" Hattie snapped angrily.

"I'm so sorry, miss!" The voice said when they both stood up.

Hattie was going to snap at the person, but she froze when she saw the person. This person was a male with fair skin, dark green eyes, and messy blonde hair. He looked between thirty-five and forty years old. She glanced at his green eyes, noticing he was checking her out. A blush formed on his face when their eyes met.

"I am so sorry, miss! I didn't mean to run into you! I was walking to clear my head after a long day at work. I was lost in my mind. I didn't hurt you, did I?"

Hattie laughed softly, "No, sir, you didn't. I wasn't looking where I was going."

"I cannot help but notice you were crying. Are you alright?" He asked her with concern in his kind voice.

Hattie glanced at her side to notice Scott standing there. His eyes were on the man. Hattie looked back at the man, who was now staring at Scott. From the look on his face, it seemed like he didn't know who Scott Cawthon was.

"Hello, sir. Are you two new to Hurricane?"

Hattie was confused, "Is that where we are? What is the date and year?"

((I wanted the story to occur before Evan "CC" Afton's birthday. I don't know when his birthday is. I tried to look it up. It gave me two different dates -- July 5th and October 9th. I don't know if that's even true. So, I will pick October 9th. Sorry if that's not right.)

"I don't believe that's weird, dear. It's August 15th, 1983," the man replied gently, "Sometimes people need to be reminded."

Hattie glanced at Scott, who gave her a play-along look, "I'm Scott Cawthon. And this is my daughter -- Henrietta Cawthon."

"Henrietta?"

Hattie shrugged lightly, "Yeah. My name is Henrietta. Most people would believe I would by the name Henri, but my dad told me when I was younger, I used to wear hats all the time. He came up with the nickname Hattie. Since then, I have gone by Hattie."

Hattie wasn't lying; instead of her dad (since she didn't know who he was), the adults worked at the orphanage.

"I have to say there is nothing wrong with the name Henry," he told Hattie and Scott with a smile, "I'm Henry Emily."

"Henry Emily?" Scott questioned him, confused.

"Yes, that's my name. I have a friend and business partner named William Afton. We have a business that we own together. Are you two searching for a job? Will and I are hiring."

Hattie heard Scott gasp quietly, but she didn't know why. She was going to question him later. For now, they both need a job.

"My dad and I are searching for a job. When should we come by?"

"Here is the address," Henry Emily pulled out paper and pencil, writing down the address, "Please come by tomorrow morning. Will and I will be in tomorrow. If you're lucky, you can meet Will's three wonderful children. Well, I should get going. Will I see you two tomorrow?"

Hattie smiled, "Of course, Mr. Emily?"

Henry left Scott and Hattie. When he was out of hearing range, Scott turned towards Hattie, snapping quietly with concern, "Don't you realize what you got us into?!"

Hattie shook her head gently, and Scott sighed heavily, "If my assumptions are correct, then we are in the world of Five Nights at Freddy's."

Hattie shrugged, pulling out her wallet to see if she had enough for a hotel room, "I have never played that game. I don't know the lore. Hey. Do you have enough for a hotel room?"

"Yes, I do. However, once we get a room. We need to talk about it. I don't want either of us to get hurt."

She glanced up, confused, "And why would we?"
