Vanished

Chapter 1

A deafening ringing is heard in Gabi's room. He agitatedly turns the alarm off and opens his eyes slowly.

A creamy blue and pink pastel colors are viewed in his vision. He totally loves the color of his walls which was picked together by none other than his best friend - Hollow. 

"I hate mondays! Kung pwede lang hindi pumasok. Hayss." Gabi mutters in defeated tone. This is just a common struggle every student face. 

He does not have a choice and starts to prepare for school. After showering and wearing his school uniform which was a blue collared top and black slacks he makes his way to the dining table where he sees his mom putting the eggs and bacon. 

"Eat na anak, second year kana ngayon kaya you need to steel your body. Baka atakehin ka sa organic chemistry nyo." His mom giggles while trying to tease her child. 

"Ma! Wag mo ngang ma jinx yan. Baka talaga mahirapan ako sa organic chem namin!" Gabi responds with a pout. He cannot help but fear of the courses he took.

"Well, andyan naman si Hollow para turuan ka. Just make sure you relax while studying." His mom voiced out her opinion. 

Gabi choked his food upon hearing it from his mom. Cheeks blushed and the dormant butterflies started to feel ticklish on his stomach.

"Mom! Ang oxymoronic naman ng studying at relax. Besides, nakakahiya kay Ven magpaturo." Gabi reasons out while composing himself from the flustered feeling.

"Nahiya ka pa talaga Gabi Sanchez? Kaba-bata mo yan, Tabi mo yan pagtulog kapag malungkot ka, and sabay nga kayong maligo noon. Ay-yiiieeee, baka crush mo si Hollow nak ha?" His mom teases him further, and the latter could only pout in anger to his mom. 

"I'm done with you Mom! Aalis na talaga ako!" Gabi mutters in an annoyed tone. He rolls his eyes and is about to leave when his mom stops him.

"Sorry na anak. Hahaha. Eto baon mo oh, I added a hundred pesos cause I feel bad!" His mom pinches his cheeks and giggles looking at his adorable son.

Even though she was a single mom to Gabi she never thought to give his son up. She knows that she can do it.

Gabi kisses her mom's cheeks and opens the door. 

Coincidentally, when the door is opened there reveals a dashing figure of Hollow looking at Gabi with fascination.

"Tita! Good morning po." Hollow greets her warmly.

"Morning anak! aga-aga mo talaga everyday, sinusundo mo ba ang princessa?" She teased a question to both of them.

Gabi blushed at the thought that Ven heard what his mom had been saying earlier. So he rolled his eyes again to his mother and left for Ven's car.

"Hahaha, ang cute talaga ng anak ko. Nagbibinata na talaga. Pero wala pang boyfriend." She voiced out her opinion.

It's not that she wants her son to be in a relationship. But she knows that her son has good genes and looks so it's quite concerning that her Gabi has never brought a guy other than Hollow.

"Hehehe" Hollow awkwardly responds.

If only she knew, Gabi has so many admirers and suitors to the point that Ven has to safeguard him every time. Telling them to get lost or else, he'll do something they would not like.

Ven is an effective admirer repellant to them. 

"Oh sige, mauna na kayo baka ma-late kayo. Bantayan mo si Gabi, anak ha!" She warmly said and patted his head.
