My name is Harper Robinson, I'm 19 and I'm working on a game called Beacon, which I have decided to use an HTML software for. Not ideal, but I'm used to html. I've decided to get my friend Sage to help me. All went well until "someone" named Katana started writing notes in my code. I thought it was Sage making a joke but they have since refused to help me on the game any longer but the notes keep coming up, and there's Katana notes showing up in my logs now. It's fine. I'll ignore it. My game will be perfect.

I start mumbling to myself, "Syntax error? Where? Investiga- aAAAAAAAHHHHH-"
.
.
.
"...rper? Are you.. Harper?"
.
.
"...ey! Harper! Wake up!"
I blink awake to see someone crouched over me. Am I.. IN MY GAME'S CODE? There's HTML codes floating in the sky. I look up at the person, they have white hair in a jellyfish cut like style that seems like they haven't cut it in years with how much of it there is, if their hair grows really slowly at least. They have really pale skin and purple eyes so they might be albino. They are wearing a black jacket, light grey shirt, and black jeans. Their eyes have a distant look to them.
"Oh! You're awake. I think? You're awake, right?"
"wh- aaahh! where am I?! Who are you?!" I shout. Or at least, I think that's my voice, because it sounds so disoriented I can't tell if it's really even me speaking
"Oh, you're panicking. I don't think you can do that in your sleep, so you are awake." The person says calmly.
"Wh-what?" I ask, sitting up, I don't feel a ground under me like I'm floating, and besides the html code everything is dark grey with no shadows, and I cant tell where the ground ends and the sky begins, I stand up and feel a wave of nausea from the fact I feel like I'm floating, and I try to remain standing. "wh-who are you? where are we?" I ask, voice wavering
"I'm surprised you don't recognize me. It's your friend." They reply. I pause for a moment, trying to think of who it could be. A thought comes to mind, but there's no way...
"...Katana?" I ask slowly.
"That's me!" They replied. Another wave of nausea rolled over me
"But- there's no way- I- you- y-you aren't real- S-Sage was making a d-dumb joke-" I stammer.
"You still have yet to tell me who Sage is." They reply. "But I'm as real as real can be!" They said and backed up slightly to give me some space.
"Sage- oh... They were working on Beacon with me..." I mumble.
"Oh! Your game! Yes, the coding is very advanced!" Katana replied.
"Wh- you've seen it?" I ask
"Of course I have!" They replied. I realize how dumb of a question that was and mentally facepalm. They've been putting notes in it and editing it, of course they've seen it.
"Right, of course." I say. "This is... a dream, isn't it?"
"I wish." They said cryptically. "But you're perfectly awake, Harper."
"Right..." I say, not believing them. Whatever, I'll wake up to find I fell asleep at my desk, or, something like that. It's impossible to be inside of code. It sounds like something out of a fiction book, there's no way it's real.
"Well, believe me or not. Hmm..." They said and started writing something in my code
"What are you doing?" I ask
"Oh nothing." They reply.
"Um... 'kay..." I reply and sit down on the floor, or, if you can even call this a floor, and watch whatever Katana is trying to do.
