Kemal sighs.
"But please promise me, never abandon me in this cruel world.."
"I am the only one that truly understands you, and you and Salih are the only people that truly understands me.."
Kemal looks away.
"Also, don't confuse our friendship, as we are the only ones with each other in these hard times."
"We do not require love to understand each other, we only require friendship."

"You're right, Kemal..." İsmet said and looked into Kemal's eyes.

"Do you remember our promise when the war is over and we both live in the newly independent republic?"
"We promised to support each other."
"I will always support you, Ismet."
Kemal smiles.

"I will always be your side. And whenever you need help, I will be always be there."
İsmet says, then he smiles slightly.
"Thank you friend, thank you..."
Kemal says.
Kemal continues to stroke İsmet's hair as the silent slowly fills up the room.
