JAKE finds himself walking down the nature path again, body wrapped up in Heeseung's coat and scarf. He told himself he wouldn't come here until he'd gotten himself under control but he couldn't help it. It's been a week since he last talked to or seen Heeseung and he felt bad for probably making the man wait.

He takes a deep breath and clenches his hands in his pocket. "I can do this." he says to himself. "I'll explain what happened to Heeseung hyung and everything will be okay."

"Explain what to me?" A voice chimes in from behind him, sounding dangerously close to his ear. Jake jumps, his feet leaving the ground as he spins in the air. Heeseung stares back at him, an unimpressed look on his handsome face.

Jake gulps. "O—oh! It's nothing to—"

"Don't do that, Jaeyun," he interrupts, face cold. Jake takes a small step back, eyes going wide when Heeseung follows. "You just said you were gonna explain what the hell was going on so don't tell me its 'nothing'!"

Jake squeaks, back thumping against the trunk of the tree as Heeseung towers in front of him. "Heeseung... I'm sorry."

"Why should I believe you?" He snaps. "I waited here an entire week for you, Jaeyun. I texted you everyday, worried out of my mind about you, and you come here telling me nothing is wrong with you? Save it."

He takes a step back and turns away from Jake, running a hand through his hair as he takes a deep breath. Jake wants to scream. He feels so stupid. He had no idea Heeseung felt this way.

"Heeseung," he says, taking a step towards the older man. "Heeseung," he says again when the man makes no move to look at him again. He sniffles, taking Heeseung's hand into his own. "I'm sorry, hyung. I really am. I didn't mean to make you wait, I swear I didn't."

Heeseung curls his bigger hand around Jake's but doesn't turn to look at him, shoulders shaking slightly.

"Heeseung," Jake whispers, ducking his head slightly. "Won't you look at me? I wanna see your face."

Finally, Heeseung turns to look at him. Jake's heart almost breaks in half when he sees the tear tracks lining his cheeks, his eyes read and puffy. He coos, wrapping his arms around Heeseung's neck and yanking the taller male into a hug.

Heeseung wraps around him, body trembling. "I missed you so, so much. Please don't disappear again."

Jake gulps, burying his face in Heeseung's shoulder and crying tears of his own. "I know. I know, hyung. I won't disappear and leave you alone like that again. I'm sorry. I'm sorry."

Heeseung sniffles, pulling away to raise one of his large hands to Jake's cheek. He smiles, cupping Jake's cheek and wiping his tears away. "Don't cry, Jaeyun-ah."

Jake laughs softly. "I can't help it. "

Heeseung hums, face softening. "I'm happy you're back." And then he's leaning forward to connect their lips in a soft kiss. Jake hums, grasping Heeseung's forearm and pulling him in closer.

Heeseung pulls away to rest his forehead against's Jake's, squeezing at his hip and searching his eyes. "Why don't you come to mine?" he asks, kissing the corner of Jake's mouth softly. "It's just a little farther down. I don't have morning classes."

"Okay," Jake agrees, easy as breathing. He leans in to kiss Heeseung one more time before pulling away again. "I don't either."

Heeseung's house is beautiful. The walls a painted a pretty cashmere color and their are pictures lining every inch of the house. The couches are mismatch; one a deep hue of forest green and the other a rich yellow color.
