Annabeth rolled her eyes at the two in the back of her car.

Thalia was sitting in Percy's lap, grinding against him as they made out. To be fair, the two hadn't seen each other in a couple of months.

Thalia and Annabeth went to college together, but Percy went to a different college that worked better for his major, marine biology.

As soon as they saw each other again, Percy had picked Thalia up and they kissed, not even waiting to get in her car before they were practically fucking each other in the backseat.

Annabeth rolled her eyes and kept watching the road. They were almost to Westover Hall, and the two in the back would have to stop soon enough anyway.

"Great conversation, you two, I missed our deep and meaningful interactions." Annabeth snarked as she parked.

Percy detached himself from his punk girlfriend and let out a sigh. "Gods I missed you. Both of you, actually."

Thalia snickered and crawled off of his lap, both of them getting out of the car. Annabeth took out her key fob and hit a button on the side, making the gray car shrink until it was a steel coin with a chariot printed on it. It also hooked easily onto the rest of her keyring.

"I swear, your mom spoils you rotten." Thalia said. As the goddess who invented chariots, Athena gave her daughter a 'modern chariot' for her eighteenth birthday. Annabeth loved her car, and was happy to find out the coin reappeared on her keychain after a while.

"You're just jealous that the best thing your dad did for you was Ægis." Annabeth said back as she walked into the military school.

As they walked in and out of the cold winter, Percy threw an arm possessively on Thalia's shoulders, and she tucked a hand in his back pocket for the same reason.

Annabeth watched them as if they were animals on a documentary. "Observe how the seaweedius brainius displays his possession of his mate to other males, while the pineconius faceium does the same to ward off other females."

Without looking, Thalia reached back and zapped her friend, making the blonde yelp and laugh.

The good cheer was suddenly interrupted when two people who looked to be in their forties stood in front of them.

"There are no visitors allowed. If you are dates for students, you needed to already have prior permission and your visitor badges. I'm afraid you'll have to leave." The woman said with crossed arms.

Annabeth stepped forwards and snapped her fingers, a clear snap sound traveling through the hall.

The two mortals frowned. They seemed to be completely confused as to what happened.

"But we are students. Remember? Annabeth, Thalia, and Percy?" Annabeth said, making Percy frown in confusion along with the staff members.

The older woman frowned for a moment before turning to her colleague. "Ah yes, well, run along. You aren't supposed to be in the main building if you aren't here for the dance."

Suddenly, a young man in a rasta cap ran up behind the two faculty members and right to his friends. "You guys made it!" He shouted, practically knocking them over in a hug.

"What do you mean, Mr. Underwood? They are students here." The older woman, who Percy noticed had a name tag labeled Ms. Gottschalk, questioned.

"Uh... the punch! They made the punch, and it sure is good punch! C'mon guys, let's go get punch at the dance." Grover said nervously as he glanced at the older man, Dr. Thorne.

Percy, Thalia, Annabeth, and Grover took off towards the gym. As soon as they were out of earshot, Percy questioned his friend.

"Slow down goatman, where's the fire?" He asked, still holding his girlfriend close to him. Thalia, for her part, would be able to activate Ægis at the drop of a hat and cover his back. Her hand in his back pocket wasn't just possessiveness.
