Michael stood in front of the doors of the building, waiting for that man he spoke to on the phone to arrive. In the rain, he was just standing quietly. "Seems he's late... and of course I decided to come early... great." He adjusted the jacket on his body, as he was continuing to get soaked in the pouring rain. Then, he heard a voice behind him.
"Hey-hey! Glad you can make it!"
Turning around, he saw a young man, maybe in his late 20s, come walking towards him holding an umbrella. "You don't have an umbrella, man? It's pouring out here! Anyways, sorry I'm late," He said as he walked up to the door. Then he fished in his pocket and pulled out a key. "I live in St. George, and the traffic on Interstate 15 was horrendous man," the man said, shaking his head. "No idea why it was so bad and it's 10 p.m," He inserted the key into the hole, turned it, and then the door opened. He let Michael in, and then they both walked into the building.
"So, welcome to Fazbear's Fright!" The man said as he shut the door behind them and locked it.
Michael stood and looked around the hallway that stretched out from him. Green guck all over the walls, and flickering lights, topped with a strange musky smell.
"Don't worry there, that's not real mold. Totally all fake! Can you believe it?!" The man said very enthusiastically.
Michael didn't say anything and just stood there taking in the strange look of the building's interior.
The man nodded. "Okay... so... um... and the smell isn't real either. Well, it's real, but more like artificial," He looked at Michael. "So... uhhh... let me show you to your office, to let you know what to do,"
Michael nodded and followed the man through the corridor.
Passing by many different paths that lead to different places in the building, he saw different arcade machines that all looked like they were faulty.
"Are you familiar with Fazbear Entertainment?" Michael heard the man ask.
Michael was slightly taken back, but then he looked at the him, who was slightly looking back at him while they walked.
"Y-Yes," Michael responded. "I quite am,"
"A lottttt of bad things had happened there. A lot of unexplained things. It's why this place exists! It was all a big mystery," The man said.
"Hmm...," Michael responded not saying much.
"Definitely was a strange disaster, I'll say that much dude," The guy said. "Missing kids, alleged haunted animatronics-,"
Going on about that was making Michael nauseous. Why did he take this job, he had thought. He needs answers.... not a reminder of what had happened over 30 years ago.
