A Tricky Map

Veronique's P.O.V

It has been 2 weeks since Kanika and my 1st date. 

Today was the last day before the autumn break week

I was so tired that I almost fell asleep in class. 

Suddenly I realized that this is magic class.

We are learning how to use a defense spell

It was so boring

"I already learned that before. Why cant we just learn about fashion?" I muttered

2 hrs later, class ended

Kanika's P.O.V

I was so happy that school finally ended, and I have dont have to study boring things and answer utterly ridiculous questions. 

I went to my dorm and saw a map to a treasure.

I hurriedly brought the map to my friends: Veronique, Jade, Lazuli, Rhody, and Zeluma (which is not really my BFF)

Zulema's P.O.V

I was walking with Jade, my gf. And, suddenly Kanika ran up to me, not only that, bumped into me. SO RUDE of her!!!!

Kanika's P.O.V

I was so embarassed for accidentally bumping into Zulema.

"Excuse me?" Zulema scolded me

"sorry." I apologized to Zulema 

"Be careful next time, princess." Zulema firmly said

"Guys, I found something in my dorm." I excitedly told Zulema and Jade

"What is it?" Zulema groaned

"It's a treasure map." I showed both of them the map

"Wow!" Zulema and Jade were amazed

"Wanna go on treasure hunting?" I excitedly asked them

"Sure." Jade replied

"Sure. If you just share all of the treasures to us." Zulema replied

"I'll get 1/4 of the treasure." I argued

"1/15." Zulema argued

"1/8" I argued back

"Fine." Zulema groaned

"Just tell us when to search for the treasure." Jade said

I hurriedly went to find Veronique, Lazuli, and Rhody.

I found Lazuli in the science Lab. 

"Hey, Laz" I waved

"Hey, Kanika." Lazuli waved back

"What're you doing in the Lab?" I asked

"Just trying new lab experiments." Lazuli held a bottle of sodium and a teaspoon of podium

"Wanna see a map that I just found in my room?" I excitedly showed Lazuli the map

Lazuli's P.O.V

I was amazed by the treasure map that Kanika showed me

"Of course!" i jumped and squealed

"Great!" Kanika smiled

Kanika went out of the lab and I started going to my dorm to pack the things for the treasure hunt.

Kanika's P.O.V

I hurriedly went to find Veronique. 

Suddenly, Veronique was bringing a book about fashion.

"Veronique!" I panted

Veronique saw me

"What's going on, Kanika?" She asked me

"Wanna go on a quest?" I asked

"Why?" Veronique asked

"I found a map in my dorm." I showed the map to Veronique

Veronique's P.O.V

I was surprised to see the map that could lead to a grim treasure.

"I wouldnt go on that quest if I were you." I said

Kanika's P.O.V

I was confused why Veronique wouldnt go on the quest.

"Why?" I asked her

"Because I think that the map leads to a dark temple, that's full of grim magic." She answerred

I laughed because I thought it was a joke

"Youre the best joker, Veronique." I laughed, held her left shoulder

"It's not a joke." Veronique firmly said

And, she removed my hand from her shoulder

I was surprised that she'd do that just for a lil' joke

"What's wrong?" I asked worriedly

"It's dangerous for you to go there, especially alone." Veronique tried to warn me

I tried to become upset

"Well, I'm not alone, and youre just jealous of me." I scoffed

"But, I'm not." Veronique said

Then, I ran away from her.

Veronique's P.O.V

I was so sad that I cried to my dorm.

I cried on my bed.

Jade's P.O.V

I saw what Veronique said and what Kanika said to Veronique and hurrily ran to warn my GF, Zulema.

I went to Zulema's dorm and I saw her putting some of her outfits in a dark purple suitcase.

"Zulema, what're you doing?" I asked

"Packing up for the trip." Zulema answerred

"But, I heard V--v----Veronique say that the temple that we're going to is full of grim magic, and if we go to the temple, we'll be in danger." I explained briefly 

"Please, we're very good at magic, I'm sure we'll be safe." Zulema scoffed

"*sighs* If you say so." I gave up

I went to Veronique's dorm

Veronique's P.O.V

Someone knocked on my dorm room.

"Come in." I said

Turns out it was Jade.

"Jade?" I got up from my bed

"Hi!" She waved

"Hi." I said looking sadly at myself

"What's going on?" Jade went beside me

"It's nothing." I lied

"Come on, just tell me, Im your bestie, I promise I wont tell anyone." I promised Veronique

"Anyone?" She asked

"Yes." I promised

Veronique told the whole truth to Jade about Kanika and the map.
