Dev and Varun were happy to see Maya finally, knowing she will be there with them from now on till forever. Whereas Aryan, Nikhil and Rohan were shocked to see Maya, the girl who claimed all of their dreams.

Vikram who noticed them staring at Maya, decided to introduce her.

"This is Ms. Maya Sharma, my personal secretary"

They all know that a new secretary was appointed for Vikram, but neither do they know who it was nor they thought it would be Maya. Maya slowly moved her eyes towards all the men there.

Aryan's expression shifted from one of concentration to mild surprise, his eyes narrowing slightly as if trying to confirm he is not dreaming. Rohan's demeanour softened, a flicker of recognition lighting up his features as he greeted her with a warm smile. But it was Nikhil whose reaction was the most intriguing.

At the sight of Maya, Nikhil's carefully composed facade wavered for just a moment, a subtle shift in his expression betraying the surprise and curiosity that flickered in his eyes. There was a fleeting recognition there, a spark of something long forgotten, as if he had stumbled upon a memory from his past that he had thought lost forever.

Maya, for her part, couldn't help but feel a surge of emotion as she locked eyes with Nikhil. The memories came rushing back with startling clarity – the laughter, the tears, the love and the heartbreak. It has been a month since they had last seen each other, but the connection between them still lingered, buried beneath the layers of time and distance.

For Aryan, the exchange between Maya and Nikhil went unnoticed, his attention focused on the matter at hand - how and why? But for Maya and Nikhil, it was a moment frozen in time – a silent recognition of the past they had shared and the secrets they still harboured.

For Rohan, he knew something happened. He looked at Nikhil then at Maya, who was now looking at him. Maya somehow felt his gaze familiar and comfortable.

As Maya took her seat at the table, she couldn't shake the feeling of unease that settled over her like a shroud. The unexpected reunion had stirred up a whirlwind of emotions, leaving her heart racing and her thoughts in turmoil. And as she glanced across the table at Nikhil, she couldn't help but wonder what secrets lay hidden behind his enigmatic gaze – and what impact they would have on the future that lay ahead.

Aryan, Nikhil, and Dev sat around the polished mahogany table. The weight of their decision hanging heavy in the air. They had signed the pact to save Aryan's business from impending doom, putting aside their differences for the greater good. But beneath the surface, tensions simmered, unspoken resentments lingering like a dark cloud over their heads.

Aryan's gaze flickered between Nikhil and Dev, his expression guarded as he addressed them. "I appreciate your willingness to help," he began, his voice measured. "But let's be clear – this pact doesn't change anything between us."

"I understand," Dev interjected, his voice tinged with regret. "But perhaps this could be a chance for us to move past our differences, for the sake of the pact and our friendship."

Aryan's eyes flashed with anger at Dev's suggestion, his patience wearing thin. "Don't mistake this for forgiveness, Dev," he snapped, his voice tinged with bitterness. "I'll honour the pact because it's necessary, but that doesn't mean I have to like you."

Dev's heart sank at Aryan's harsh words, the sting of rejection cutting deep. He had hoped that their shared struggle would help bridge the gap between them, but it seemed that Aryan's resentment ran deeper than he had anticipated.

Together, they would face whatever lay ahead, united in their quest for survival and the hope of a brighter tomorrow. But little did they know that their pact would soon be put to the ultimate test, as betrayal lurked in the shadows, waiting to tear them apart.
