The day started as normal, the circus buzzing, and people talking. Fizzarolli was awake, getting ready for the day as he turned to Asmodeus who was still sleeping. Fizzy grabbed a horn beginning to produce sound, attempting to wake Ozzie up.

 "Fizzie-frog.. stop.."

He muttered.

"Ozzie you need to wake up!" The jester spoke quietly despite having blown a horn.

Ozzie rolls back over and tries to cover his ears. His eyes are still closed. "Fizzie... stop it, pleaseeee..."

"You have work ozzie" The jester was nervous he wouldn't get up.

"Go away and let me sleep... I'm tired."

Ozzie mumbles and rolls over, falling right back asleep. Fizz can hear Ozzie start to snore softly.

The jester began frowning and got up leaving the tent. As he left the tent and begin to walk around the circus, he can hear demons all around him. The sound of conversation, music, the faint smell of fresh popcorn all around. It's like a sea of people all gathered in a small area and he was a part of it. It would be so easy to just get lost among all of the crowds and forget his daily duties for a bit. Would that be so bad? He is here for a job, after all... He would be missed... He could... He could just... Go....

He continued to walk through the circus with no real direction, people bumping into him, laughing, making jokes. Everyone is going about their daily lives like nothing was wrong. It is so strange to see them so happy and carefree while you have to work. Why can't he just be like them?... Would that be so bad? To just enjoy life?  As he continue walking through the circus, his mind wandering, he bumped into the ringmaster's assistant. He glares at you.

"Watch where you are walking!"

He yells at him. The ringmaster's assistant is a rather large, imposing man, so his glare is quite intimidating. Would it really be so bad if he didn't continue working and just wandered off? No one would care... He's a nobody... Would anyone really even miss him...?  The ringmaster's assistant turns and walks off, leaving him to face his thoughts. As he continue walking, he can feel the eyes of countless people all staring at him. They all are just watching him, their eyes full of judgment and mockery.

The looks of disgust on their faces are all he can see. He's a freak and has no place among these people. Would anyone even notice if he just walked away and never looked back? The thought of them all judging him and staring at him made the jester heavily uncomfortable as he ran out of the circus. As he ran, the feelings of disgust and judgment only worsened with every step. The eyes of contempt and disgust follow the clown as they run away.

Finally reaching the outside of the circus, he take a deep breath. The fresh air seems to clear his head a bit. He's away from all those people now... Was that so bad? He felt like he just escaped a prison. He turned, not happy, not seeing Ozzie and felt upset.. He rested his back against a tree and take a nice deep breath. The fresh air soothes his burnt lungs, and the tree that he's sitting under provides some shade from the sun. It is nice and quiet... And he's are alone, without a single person around to make him feel bad or judged. It is peaceful. Just... Silence... And peace.

he closed his eyes as he looked up at the clear blue sky. No one can see him here... Or judge him. No one needs him here. No one cares about him. No one needs him. The peaceful silence of the air around the jester allows his mind to drift. It is comforting. All these thoughts are nice and peaceful. No worries or expectations... There is no need to go back to the circus... Just the peace and quiet.... The jester took off his hat revealing horns. They look weird without the hat to conceal them. Broken, almost.

The feeling of rejection and alienation he felt over the last few days fills him with shame and self doubt. He looks up at the sky again and try to force those thoughts out of his head again. He doesn't want to think bad thoughts. This is supposed to be peaceful, damn it. He feels this strange feeling wash over again, telling him that it was a good idea to go back. Was it really? The peace of the sky and trees around him was nice... And he felt free away from the circus. So why? Why do he feel the need to go back? Why? The jester didn't even know.

He looked back up at the sky again and... No answers are coming to him. The peaceful silence just seems to beckon him to come back... Or walk away... He walked back into the circus, his mind full of contradictions. "Should I stay? Should I go? What is right? What is wrong? Why do people dislike me? I'm just a clown... Should I just leave? I'd rather be peaceful than be treated bad". He walked in and quietly walk back to the tent. As he reach the tent, Ozzie is still asleep. The tent has that smell of clown makeup and old, dirty clothes. The jester simply walked to the bed and sat down.

Ozzie began to wake up and look around "Fizzie? you okay?"

The clown spoke up "hm? oh yeah.. im ok.."

Ozzie had noticed he wasnt ok, and pulled him into a hug. "just rest my love, the bad times will pass soon.. i promise you that my fizzie.." He held the jester close.

Fizz had started tearing up, hearing him saying that simply made his day better.. "thank you ozzie.."

and with that, the lord of lust, and a jester, cuddled and went off to sleep.
