The week went by quicker than expected; soon, it was Friday. The school was almost empty except for some detention students and teachers. I was walking through the school corridor when I felt a pull on my wrist, and the next second, I was in an empty classroom, glaring at Zach.

"Hey." He smiles at me soft enough to melt metal.

"Don't hey me," I say angrily.

He rubs his neck, "Sorry, I needed to ask you something."

"What was so necessary that you had to pull me like that?"

"Do you wanna go out tonight?"

I give him a confused look, "Where?"

"A little town outside no one will recognize us there, I promise."

My shackles rise and I frown, "I made it clear that this is all-"

"-Purely sexual. I am aware." He clears his throat. "It's not a date."

The knot in my stomach loosens.

"But it's Friday night, Zach. And it was hard to miss the excitement of Lily and the birthday party she's throwing when she literally yells about it every 20 minutes." I laugh, people who get excited about their birthdays are truly adorable.

He remains silent.

"Are you not going?"

He shakes his head in blatant dismissal.

"You should. These are your peak years, make mistakes, learn from them, and then do them better." I wink. Memories flood my mind at that. "You can not even imagine the shit we pulled in school and college."

"Tonight then." He pushes me gently against the wall.

I confusedly look at him.

"I wanna hear them all tonight." He puts his lips on my neck right on my pulse causing me to shudder. Without saying anything more he walks out of the door.

"You keep forgetting who's in charge here."

"Show me tonight." He grins like he has me just where he wants me.

Oh, he is in deep trouble.

I shake my head and walk out of the classroom.

Back at home, it was almost 6 when I was ready to take a shower, my phone pings. I pick it up and see Zach's name on the screen. I open the message which read, "8 p.m. Dinner. I'll pick you up, ma'am."

I roll my eyes with a smile.

"You think adding ma'am at the end will save you every time, huh?" I text back.

"Save or endanger, either way, I am winning." His reply came within seconds.

I shake my head at his craziness and put the phone on the bed. I take a quick shower and then decide to get ready.

For me, it is always dress, hair, and then makeup. While makeup and hair can interchange, dressing first is a non negotiable. Anyone who thinks otherwise can argue with the wall.

So I chose a mint green ruched dress with a subtle pastel touch and paired it with white ankle-strap heels. Keeping the jewelry minimal, I opt for a delicate pearl necklace and diamond hoop earrings with hanging pearls. For my hair, I style it in loose flowing curls. Ending my look with makeup, I moisturize my skin thoroughly, then add a touch of blush for a healthy glow. I emphasized my eyes with mascara and completed the look with nude lipstick in a soft mauve shade.

My phone rings and I pick up the call, "I am here."

I unlock the door through my phone and reply, "Come on in."
