Three nocks echo loudly through the chamber. At least...he thinks it's a chamber. 'Where is he? Who is he?'
More nocking. These ones sounded more like banging.
He slowly started to open his eyes. Some type of blue water slowly leaks out of the bath tub he was in.
'Bath tub...?'
He takes note of where he is. A cave, his mind supplies him with the word.
More banging.
'Why is there so much banging??'
He slowly sat up. The sound of popping from his joints echoed through the cave he was in. He looks around again.
More banging.
'Annoying.'
He slowly starts to get out of the bath tub he was in. When he stands and he has to hold the tub behind him to keep himself stable.
He takes note of himself. He was barely clothed, no shirt or pants, only to his undergarment. 'Odd..' he thinks, then looks around the room again.
It was the same cave he saw when he was in the bath tub. 'No duh...' his mide chastises at himself.
He notes with a little dismay that there was no exit he could see. The caves walls were smooth stone and any patterns or carvings he sees had seemed to be craved into it.
He noted that one wall seemed to be just interlocking stones, with a circle in the middle was incraved with an eye. he turns his head to see some type of stone pedestal in the corner.
More banging. This time he hears yelling too.
He straightens a bit. 'People. Why were there people in this cave? Why was he in this cave?'
He looks at the pedestal again. It seems to hold something in it. He cocks his head to the side and walks towards it. When he gets close enough the thing inside it comes up on a stand, Facing him.
He looks at the thing curiously. It was a stone slate that had some type of screen on it. He reached out to touch the screen and it turned on, glowing. He pulls his hand back to his chest. His eyes soon adjusted to the light and he sees the text on the slate: sheikah slate activated.
'The sheikah slate..?' He reaches out to it again. This time grabbing the top and lighting pulling it. The pedestal willingly unclipped the slate and he turned it over in his hands.
As he looked over the slate, a rumble runs through cave.
The banging stopped along with the yelling.
He looks up look, surprised. The rock wall of interlocking stones with the eye starts to shift and move.
The wall moved away. The first thought that went to his mind was that there was more to this room. It wasn't just a place with no way out. He could leave.
He starts to walk towards it. Once he stands in front of the new hole that the wall moved away from he saw that it was a second room. One that looked bigger than the one he was in.
The banging starts again, this time with frantic talking and shouting.
He tilts his head, confused. The banding still went on. Now that he seemed closer to the source of the banging it seemed like someone was using a hammer to break in. 'Concerning.'
He walks into the room, holding the sheikah slate tightly. The new room he was now in seemed to be two levels. One, the area he was walking into, was higher than the other. They were connected by a ramp. The higher level had a bunch of crates and boxes that were lying around.
With all these boxes and crates he sees, he also notices two chests on either side of the ramp. He walks over to the one on right. It was closer. He kneels down and fumbles with the latch for a few seconds before managing to open it up. Inside was a some well-worn trousers. 'Oh good...' he thinks before sitting down properly on the floor and putting down the sheikah slate.
He pulls the trouser on before standing up again, picking up the slate and feeling more comfortable now that he had some pants. The trousers didn't fit him too well, they were small on him but they did its job for now.
He walks over to the other chest. Kneeling down again to fumble with the latch before it opened. This chest had a old shirt that looked small in him like the trousers do. Still he put it on, finding it to, indeed, be small.
He stands up again, and after another look around the higher level of the room before going down the ramp.
Once he's gone down the ramp he notices another one of those stone pedestal's near another wall with interlocking stones. This pedestal was glowing with a bright orange, and he had a feeling of recognition that he didn't know where it was coming from.
He hums as he traces the groves of the sheikah slate. He hesitantly grabs the slate with one hand and hovers it over the pedestal. He didn't know why but he had a feeling that if he put the sheikah slate to the pedestal it would open the wall like it did with the other one. It was a simple hunch.
However, that hunch seemed to be right when orange pedestal flash with a bight blue light. There was another rumble as the interlocking stones of the door slide apart and opened. He walks in front of it as he opens, interested to see what new thing he has found. He holds the sheikah slate in a tight grip, clutching it to his chest.
All banging and yelling go silent.
Light shines through the stones as the shift away and he brings a hand up to shed he's eyes from the light.
He blinks, allowing his eyes to adjust. The first thing he notices is the light. It was much brighter then the two caves he was in and it takes him a while to truly adjust to it. The next thing he noticed was a figure in front of him.
A mask, one of an upside down eye, was starring directly at him...
