"Remi, I like that song! Go back." A complaint. She turned toward her older sister, an annoyed expression displayed on her spry features.

"Relax. All these channels are boring anyway." Remi muttered the last part, continuing to skip through the stations. "I'm trying to find something that I like."

"Can you just settle on one? You've been skipping for like, 30 minutes."

"Stop being dramatic, Whitney. I literally just started messing with it. Why don't you put your earbuds in?" Remi rolled her eyes, placing her hand back on the radio knob.

"Whatever."

A large bag was retrieved from the floor, patterned with lilies and daffodils.


Home.


Head resting against the glass, Whitney watched as the snow-filled trees flew by the small window. December, the snow had completely frozen the ground.

She pulled her phone out, checking the temperature.
