So here's the thing: I had recently read a fanfic which was the most beautiful thing I had ever read. Sadly, the author, LandMaster45, is going through tough times. I like his story, Titanomachy, so I am going to make something similar. I won't be ripping off his work, but I do want to satisfy my curiosity about a (Titanfall X Clone Wars) story without waiting months to wait for us or find one with horrendous writing. I will DIY this work because I can, and be creating my twists separate from the other book I have.PS: This is separate from my gate fanfic. There are no HIR, no hybridians, and (indefinitely) no experimental humans. However, there are cyborgians.
I'm not here for money or attention; my only goal with writing is to satisfy my curiosity, have fun, and open up to criticisms or suggestions you, as the reader, have.
Let's get on with the show.
We Start with clone wars season 1, episode 1
———————————-
"We've just lost a fighter; we need backup!"
"Shields are down to 30 percent and still dropping!"
"They're trying to corner us!"
The frontier war. It is the most brutal, depressing, and tragic conflict in the Milky Way galaxy. Spawned by the Titan Wars, it has raged on for nearly a century between the Militia and the IMC. The Militia's most recent triumph stemmed from the 12th fleet's raid on Angel City, successfully acquiring a substantial portion of the IMC's new designs, including attack stalkers, combat reapers, and crucially, unprecedented technologies unfamiliar to the militia—the IMC's latest aircraft. Despite years of battling since the conflict's inception, the militia had made strides in governance and industry. However, despite these improvements, two significant blows were dealt to the militia cause. Sarah Briggs perished in combat during the battle of the Dakota systems, and at her behest, she refused to allow anyone to upload her consciousness into a robotic chassis for fear of the IMC obtaining it. Bish also met his end—technically brain dead; he was captured by the IMC and, in a desperate act, wiped his memories before perishing.
However, such losses were inconsequential now; the 12th fleet, also known as the Titanhammer Fleet, was evading the IMC after acquiring vital intelligence.
"Fighter Squadron 15 is down, requesting immediate backup!"
"Return to your carriers promptly; we'll need to initiate an emergency jump."
...
"The rear destroyers are under heavy fire!" Captain Boluge of the MCS Blackout bellowed.
"We're all going to perish anyway, so what's the use?" Barker, an apparently intoxicated man in the room, had all but lost hope.
"Do not lose heart, Captain Boluge; I have formulated a plan," Shatterpoint, the robotic fleet admiral—a heavily modified spyglass-class intelligence command specter—assured the captain. "However, executing my plan is irreversible, and there's an 86 percent chance of being disabled."
"Proceed! Ugh!" Boluge shouted as the Blackout was struck, causing him to stumble.
Seizing control of the 32 ships in the fleet—the Blackout, the fleet flagship, the 12 support ships, and the 19 other warships—Shatterpoint forcefully activated the jump drives, destination unknown. Inserting his fist into the controls, he activated them, vanishing without a trace. However, where Shatterpoint took them was unforeseen yet calculated, leaving the fleet disoriented, and as Shatterpoint had predicted, the entire fleet was disabled, including him.
"At least we're alive," Barker remarked as he slumped into a chair.
"Barker, snap out of it! Where the fuck are we?" Boluge demanded, attempting to reboot the system, only to encounter an error on the dashboard.
