Creepshow: the beginning

Chapter 2: Ben's p.o.v

I ran through the narrow halls dodging every anoment object that was in the way. I approached two grand wooden doors with massive handles. This was slenderman's room or 'office' as he liked to call it. I slugged my fists against the door as hard as I could,screaming Slender's name as loud as I could and loud enough to echo through the empty halls. slender answered and looked around. Due to being so short or that slender was so tall, I had to holler to grasp his full attention. He looked down to face me and cocked his blank canvus of a face to the left,
"There's some sort of new creature destroying the town around us. Many dead and no number on survivors." I pant,trying to catch my breath after all the running I had done. Slender nodded and grabbed the collar of the 'gown' I was wearing, and carried my back to the front entrance. I flushed with embarrassment as Jeff and the rest looked at me. Slender placed me down next to Jeff who smirked,
"You wouldn't like it as much if he grabbed you by the hood now would you?" I snapped. Jeff's smirk instantly faded.
"So where are these creatures ben?" Slender asked with a booming voice. I looked around. They had disappeared. I stood there in awe,
"But they....no....they can't just..." I was at a loss for words, "forget it,they're gone now."
" Slender, ben isn't lying, there were these terrifying creatures that had attacked the town. The piles of dead civilians were caused by them and the torn down houses were also wrecked because of them, but they're unfamiliar,we've never seen anything like them before." Eyeless jack explained.
"They looked like lab experiments." Masky added,and as for Jeff, he just snorted and walked away but didn't get very far. slender grabbed him by the hood,yanking him backwards. Called it.
"Alright,what do you want from me now? A fairy tale? a capsul with poison?" Jeff asked sarcastically. If slender had eyes and if looks could kill,Jeff would be dead.
"The truth Jeffery....where were you and what did you do now?" Slender questioned. All was silent. I couldn't wait to hear Jeff's lame excuse of the day.
"I went into Zalgos lab." he said.
"You. Did. WHAT?" Slender hollered
"I went into Zalgo's lab." Jeff said again. Oh no. " I entered his lab looking for some sort of book that contains spells,hoping it would help me with..." Jeff froze. Eyeless Jack,masky, and I all exchanged glares. Where was he going with this?
"Jeff you know not to go near him. You don't know what powers he possesses and what he can do to you."
"Oh and you do?" Jeff snapped back
"Hey! Because of your actions,we've lost a lot of people! Do you ever think of anyone else but yourself?" Masky hollered. I gulped. If there's one thing you don't want to do, it's piss off Jeff.
"Says the boy who's only good use is a messenger, you're pratically a puppet!" Then everything wet silent again. That's when I noticed something. Jeff began forming tears in his eyes,he was going to cry but not in front of us.
Jeff clenched his fists and walked down the hall
"Jeff!" I hollered to him
"Fuck off Ben!" He shot back. I didn't take offense to it. I didn't care that he took his anger out on me,as long as he didn't kill anyone down here,I was all set, but maybe a killing spree for Jeff was a pretty good idea for the time being. I just had to get him to calm down a little and convince him to go to the over-realm for a few hours.
I waited for a few minutes before walking up to his room and quietly opening his door.
"Jeff, it's not your fault, maskys just..."
"Ben,nows not the best time to be talking to me. I'm not in the mood." he answered softly. he had his back facing me. I hope he wasn't cutting his face anymore,it was already cut enough as it is.
"Jeff you can't just hold the anger in. I mean, I hate to sound like your mom but, let the anger go." Jeff faced me. I knew it. He had been crying. Then he spoke
"Can I tell you something...something personal?"
